The view from the property was amazing! It was a bit cloudy sometimes but we could usually see Arenal poking through. The garden is so beautiful, and attracts gorgeous butterflies and hummingbirds. My dad had a great time just sitting on the patio and enjoying the sound of the jungle, watching all the wildlife surrounding the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. We also found the resident sloth on the road next to the house! The mural on the walls of the house is unbelievably beautiful!!
The house was compact but had everything you needed - hot water, wifi, washing machine, AC, fully equalised kitchen, and even a smart TV. We really enjoyed staying there, and the price was great too!

Beautiful scenery. Very friendly staff, special mention to manager Johnathan who went above and beyond, he even took us on a sloth finding mission. Amazing kitchen with everything you need. Bungalow was great and comfortable with incredible view. Lots of birds and animals seen at the property. Super wifi. Nice parking. Cannot fault this place! Recommend to all.

The place is nice and quiet with well appointed rooms, I plan to return to the lodge next year if possible.

This was the most unique, once in a lifetime lodge stay we have experienced. Eyal really does not mess/ “eff” around when it comes to food because seriously the two night dinner feasts we had was the most incredible food in the world. Sadly he ruined all our favorite restaurants but we will forever remember his hospitality. Going to gingerbread will feel like going to your grandma’s house because it has a cozy, warm feeling, and it’s so special. Definitely give this place a try with an open heart and you won’t be sorry.
