This is a cool place, slightly off the beaten track but well worth the visit. We loved staying in a treehouse, chilling in hammocks and tubing down the beautiful Rio Celeste. Anyone staying here should try it, it’s great fun. A big bonus is the fact that you can eat on site. Breakfast was included in our booking and lunch was provided after the tubing. Food was very good and staff are friendly

The view from the property was amazing! It was a bit cloudy sometimes but we could usually see Arenal poking through. The garden is so beautiful, and attracts gorgeous butterflies and hummingbirds. My dad had a great time just sitting on the patio and enjoying the sound of the jungle, watching all the wildlife surrounding the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. We also found the resident sloth on the road next to the house! The mural on the walls of the house is unbelievably beautiful!!
The house was compact but had everything you needed - hot water, wifi, washing machine, AC, fully equalised kitchen, and even a smart TV. We really enjoyed staying there, and the price was great too!

Cute little cabins, overlooking the volcano, perfectly cleaned and well tidy. Shred spaces are very comfortable and with also incredible views of the volcano. Don’t be intimidated by the location, it’s no trouble getting there - 15 min away from la fortuna

What an amazing place and one that we would recommend if you are a digital nomad, earthy and spiritual with a hint of liking great organic food. Their food mainly comes from their own eco farm and fresh fruit in the morning is to die for. It's all vegan and vegetarian and they have theme nights related to the food of the day.
The three tours run by Aurelio are really exceptional delivered with passion and enthusiasm. The bird, wildlife and cacau are the three tours. He has learnt so much from his professor and the indigenous people of Costa Rica. The tours show how interconnected life is with nature and how we have abused it as well.
It's an inspiration and mind changing.
There's also a real social connection with people that come here who have the same core values. Yoga, Spa, massage, Reiki, great food and sharing of stories and experience. We had some spontaneous hot springs sessions at 5.30am with two people who were staying there
We didn't really want to leave, it started as a three day stay and we kept adding more until we were here for 6 days. It's a special place

Spacious room but quite basic. It’s between La Fortuna town and Arenal so is a lot easier to have a car here. You have to WhatsApp staff as no one really around but they are very responsive and help out with whatever you need when you do.

The hotel is down a short dirt track, you will need a car to stay here. There are views of the volcano from the back porch. The communal cooking area is very nice and there is a nice deck to enjoy the views. The room is a good size for a couple. The bed is nice and firm. The shower had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a nice way to start your day. As long as you have a car all the attractions are easily accessible.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Wonderful place, great people and a nice pool and wonderful grounds.
The place is nice and quiet with well appointed rooms, I plan to return to the lodge next year if possible.
Lots of restaurants near by but sadly the lodge restaurant was closed .
This was the most unique, once in a lifetime lodge stay we have experienced. Eyal really does not mess/ “eff” around when it comes to food because seriously the two night dinner feasts we had was the most incredible food in the world. Sadly he ruined all our favorite restaurants but we will forever remember his hospitality. Going to gingerbread will feel like going to your grandma’s house because it has a cozy, warm feeling, and it’s so special. Definitely give this place a try with an open heart and you won’t be sorry.
