Las Tekas is a a great little newly opened place - a short walk from the main road, down a side road, and very close to the Calabazo entrance to Tayrona. The hosts were especially lovely - very welcoming and happy to give valuable advice about the park and local area. Teka (the hotel dog) was also very cute and friendly, which was a bonus. They've only been open for a month so everything is brand new, and they've built a fantastic viewing deck on the top of the property for (unofficial) bird watching and views across the jungle. It was fantastic value for money and very well located - would definitely recommend.

Beautiful views from the room, and private pool but the hot tub feature wasn't working. Right in the jungle. Easy access to el zaino entrance of tayrona national park - 5 mins on local bus that picks you up right from the entrance.

Beautiful location, very friendly and welcoming hosts. Quiet location with just the sound of frogs in the night, we found it relaxing. You can see lots of wildlife without even leaving the hostel, including monkeys. Close to the quieter park entrance and a short walk to the ticket office. Clean room, shower with a view. Very tasty breakfast (one of the best we’ve had so far on our travels) was included - we would stay again!

This place is full of creativity, soul and spirit. Deeply immersed in the forest. Such care and love from the hosts. It is very basic facilities, which enhances the experience of nature and sense of being in the wild. Wonderful organic food. Good WiFi. Fire. Live music. And unforgettable experience!
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
This place is really stunning, it feels like a secret paradise! Unfortunately we didn't complete our two nights stay there due to an accident one of us had in the park. We are very grateful to all the people and stuff from Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke, without their help we would be hopeless. We hope some day in the future we will manage to visit this place again. Thank you for all!
A truly unique location. With only 4 ecolodges and a couple of tents you feel almost alone on this beautiful beach surrounded by nature. Amazing staff and food.
The location is simply a paradise. Lodges directly on your private beach with palmtrees and hammocks. Staff is super friendly and create that genuine holiday relaxing atmosphere
What a very special place. The lodge is amazing. It's rustic and simple, but that is the charm. We loved snorkelling from the beach and chilling in our cabana. We also enjoyed our hike along a stream. Wifi is available at the lobby, and Cata could not have done more to make our stay special. She really is an asset to Wachakyta. She seems to make everything easy. She also organised our onward travel to Tayrona nationa lpark. Food/drinks are very good and reasonably priced. Wachakyta will stay in the memory for a long time.
it’s a piece of paradise when i was there. quite, not many people (basically only the guests of the ecolodge), directly at a beautiful beach. good food and nice staff.
The site is amazing, fantastic beach and warm waters.
Great staff and both camping and lodges were very comfortable accommodation.
