The cabin had great facilities. Everything was present for a nice and comfortable stay. The nights can get quite cold there, but the fireplace, bathroom heater and the electric blankets really did the trick. We were there for just one night, but it seems to be an ideal place for a longer stay as well.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful, setting us up with a last minute booking in the town's busiest restaurant and giving us great advice on the Panorama Route.
Zur Alten Mine is only 5 minutes away from Graskop, and lies on the Panorama Route (near Pilgrims Rest), making it perfectly located for a longer stopover between Johannesburg and Kruger Park.

We had a delightfully furnished room in this lovely historic guesthouse. Great breakfast in the guesthouse kitchen itself and dinner booking was made for us at a great restaurant just a couple of minutes' walk away. This really is a special place to stay and an excellent base for exploring the Blyde River canyon area.

The place was close to all the tourist attractions like God's Window and The Big Swing. There's also a lot of restaurants and cafes around to choose from so one always has activities to do. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to check out the hiking trail. Overall, the stay was fulfilling.
I liked the breakfast, wide range of food in their menu. The location is perfectly central to most activities such as the Graskop Big Swing, only 1,2km away.
The staff is very hospitable, especially Nolly from the Bar. When I had to drive back around 2am, the staff prepared Breakfast packs for us, which was really hospitable :)
Property is very clean, secured parking and very quiet, the host was very friendly and helpful, situated near The Big swing, Berlin waterfall, Gods window, Three Rondavels and many more.
I liked the fact that it's near the Graskop Gorge and Big Swing and Zipline.
I liked that they were prepared for loadshedding by supplying the portable light.
The place is close to most attraction places like God's window, The big swing, Lisbon falls,etc. With the ongoing loadshedding we did not waste money on takeaways as there was a gas stove available. The kitchen had all the necessary equipments. There's also grocery shops like shoprite and spar close by.
The place was so beautiful and clean. Gerda's attention to detail is beyond impressive. There was everything my partner and I needed in the room. We appreciated her dinner reservations and recommendations for sight seeing. If we are ever in the Graskop area again we will definitely book again. Located very close to the Big Swing.
I liked the tranquility of the place and convenience as the place is well situated not far from the tourists attractions of the area; God's Window; Mac Mac Falls; and even the Big swing and the Pilgrims Rest.
