We Loved our stay at this impressive guest house! Adele was an exceptional host, the beautifully presented room exceeded expectations, and the garden was a perfect spot to enjoy an evening wine. Adele also kindly booked us a table at Abe’s Glasshouse Restaurant, which we absolutely loved. Highly recommended!

Graskop has all necessary amenities. Harrie's Pancakes in Graskop was a great place to have lunch after a long journey, their menu is expansive, service is great. We had an amazing dinner at Abe's Glass House Restaurant. Abe and Liefie are friendly, courteous and efficient. (booking required via whatsapp).
You will find curio's, as well as a silk shop that is worth a meander through.

Fresh Breeze of air and the mist in the morning biggest highlight as we hardly see in our city. Tourists attractions around Graskop not that far from each other that made it easy to travel around.
Due to heavy rains we couldn't go as much as we planned but overall everything was great.

Coming to Graskop last 45 years, no change in town.
Coming to Graskop last 45 years, no change in town. Outside roads gradually falling apart, No chance to travel 8 km to waterfalls. Much more potholes than tar. Macmac pools and Lisbon falls ARE A DISGRACE, all fenced off. Where does the money collected for "local participation" goes?

If you love nature this is definitely a trip to consider.
If you love nature this is definitely a trip to consider. You will be awed by what the elements of nature can do to the environment.
My highlight was the pothole formation at Bourke's luck potholes. The artistry by nature is breathtaking leaving you wondering how it all happened. Is looks like man made art.
This nature rich reserve can leave you thinking.
And make you realize we are at the mercy of nature.

Zur Alten Mine is perfectly positioned close to Graskop and a whole handful of sightseeing attractions, but set on a beautifully peaceful farm with only a small handful of chalets. Our family of three were well-accommodated in a beautiful and well-equipped wooden chalet, which included a beautiful closed fireplace which we were encouraged to use (I’ve attached a photo of that - what a joy at night!). We were also happy to see an entire family of monkeys which live on the property, and the friendly roaming dogs are also a joy.
Wonderful place !
If you really want to relax, this place is perfect for a multi-day stay.
The hostess has an eye for beauty and everywhere your eyes fall they find something beautiful.

My soulmate and I are definitely coming back 😊
I’ve stayed in so many hotels in South Africa, Graskop Hotel was the worst it doesn’t even look like a hotel it looks like a cheap guesthouse, but the staff were very friendly that is the only thing I enjoyed. I’m not visiting there anymore
