Great location by Times Square, but not noisy in the rooms. Staff very helpful and we were grateful for the room upgrade. Decent breakfast and teabags that met the British morning cuppa standard. Lovely restaurant Tony’s next door was a bonus

Times Square
Alive with billboards and brightly-lit screens, Times Square thrums with energy. Yellow taxis fly past and tourists pause awestruck to snap photos on their phones. The bustle of New York summed up in one crossroads, every element competes for your attention. It may be often recreated for film and TV, but nothing beats seeing this iconic location up-close.

Great location for the hostel. The subway is nearby, it's a 15-minute walk to Rockefeller Center and a 20-minute walk to Times Square. There are nice terraces to sit on in the morning with a coffee. Next door is a good bar with a large selection of dishes and beer. Across the street is a private open square with a waterfall. They offer free tours, but not on Sundays and Mondays, which is when we stayed.
The friendliness of the staff upon arrival and throughout the stay answering any questions we had. Unique building that was once a printing press now turned to a hotel, still had a feel of the 1930s with a modern adaptation into today. Location of the hotel was perfect walking distance for us to the pier, central park, times square, the restaurants throughout Hell's Kitchen and the Broadway shows!
It was an amazing location, smack dab in the middle of everything. You can walk from Penn Station and at night to Times Square. It's 10 mins from Edge as well.
The room is decent sized with a good air conditioner. The hotel provided sufficient towels, coffee machines, and toiletries. Every morning and evening , there was coffee and tea available in the lobby. I loved the water fountain in the lobby where you can get filtered water, sparkling water and hot water.
Residence Inn by Marriott has a perfect location just off Broadway between Central Park and Times Square. It is a big chain hotel with 60+ floors and all facilities you could expect including a well-equipped fitness centre. A big plus also for the guest laundry next to the fitness centre, very practical.
We stayed four nights in two wonderful rooms with a breathtaking view over the city and Central Park.
Since we had an early evening flight out of New York we asked for and got a late checkout without extra cost, highly appreciated.
The location of this hotel is excellent. Walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, subway, and Train Stations. As with most places in New York there were abundant places to eat, drink and have fun. The staff is above and beyond, very friendly and helpful. Property feels very safe. The rooms themselves are amazing - beds are very comfortable and the design of the rooms is like nowhere else.
The location of the hotel is excellent. It’s just a few minutes away from Central Park, Times Square and all other famous attractions of New York. The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many options to choose from. The hotel also offers an afternoon/ evening snacks too. The view of the terrace is breathtakingly beautiful.
I've stayed here twice now and on future visits to new york would always try to book here. I find the rooms are a decent size, the location is very good not too close to times square but close enough and also nice enough to get out of the times square bubble. My niece asked me to pick up some stuff I couldn't find it anywhere but amazon so had it delivered to hotel with no dramas (thanks for that!) The train station outside was super convenient and easy to use. I personally really enjoy this hotel
excellent hotel with perfect location & close to many new York attractions. Almost Only 10 minute walking to Times Square & summit one & others. Choose room 302 as its very big other than upper floors
The hotel is really like a hidden jewel in the center of New York. It is amazingly quiet, considering it is just around the corner from Times Square. It is a great location; all major attractions are nearby. The staff is excellent; you can really feel welcome there. It is like a home away from home. Breakfast is sort of basic; however, you still have more or less everything. Tony's di Napoli bar and restaurant next door offers excellent food and drinks.

What guests said about Times Square:
We began at 10 am and were back at our Times Square hotel by 4 pm
Choose a substantial section of the city, say Lower Manhattan, plot the sights you wish to see on a map so that you do not have to retrace your steps, take public transit to your starting point and begin your exploration. We started at the 9/11 Memorial and worked our way north, including City Hall, the Merchant's House, Chinatown, the Bowery, Washington Square, the White Horse Tavern, the High Line and the Garment District. Of course, there were all kinds of surprises, which added to the experience. We began at 10 am and were back at our Times Square hotel by 4 pm.

Times Square is very busy as are most of the main tourist attractions, but the hop on hop off busses are great or if you don't mind walking choose another street other than broadway and it is far easier to walk down
