The room was amazing and very comfortable. The food was good and varied at breakfast. Excellent garage parking very easy to access, in which I felt safe. The location is the main reason I selected this hotel.
It's a short walk to Country Club Plaza with many shops and dining options; the Nelson Atkins Museum, and KC's art institute. The open layout, with large bathroom and sleep area separated by a partition, makes the room feel more spacious.
This hotel met our needs for one night for being close to Country Club Plaza without being outrageously expensive. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating for a late checkout. The breakfast had lots of choice, clean and kept up to date. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The Truitt is a beautiful property and it’s obvious that its owners put great care into every detail. The location is within walking distance to the Nelson Atkins art museum and a short drive to the Country Club Plaza. Our room was stylish and comfortable and we will definitely be returning for future stays in KC.
