The room was amazing and very comfortable. The food was good and varied at breakfast. Excellent garage parking very easy to access, in which I felt safe. This is remarkable, since it is very difficult to find a place with a parking garage like this one. The staff was friendly and helpful in all areas.

Dinner time downtown was quite challenging.
Two hour wait for most restaurants and staff at many restaurants were not accommodating, nor friendly. Got in at Buca di Beppo after waiting only 20 minutes. Great food and excellent service!

It is worth going to Kansas City just to visit The Rabbit...
It is worth going to Kansas City just to visit The Rabbit Hole! The Rabbit Hole is an interatcive children's book museum and it is wonderful! But the BBQ is also pretty amazing, particularly at Jack Stacks. It's an easy city to get around, even with the construction, and there is a great selection of really interesting bars if you are not into the sports bar scene.

this trip we went to the Money Museum, Harry Truman Library and (again) to the Steamship Aruba. In the past we went to World War I museum and so much more. We went to many BBQ places in our trips to Kansas City and decided JACK STACKS in the best all-around.

It's a wonderful city, even just driving through.
It's a wonderful city, even just driving through. I stay overnight on my way back to my hometown in ND. The hotels are great as most are pet friendly for a fee. The downtown area is a nice place to walk. It's a great place to just unwind.

We loved our short visit to the city.
We loved our short visit to the city. Started our day with antiquing in the West Bottoms area of the city and enjoyed food from a couple of the food trucks while we were down there (there are a few very good restaurants in the area as well). After checking into the Marriot downtown (the one draw back of our weekend) we took a stroll around the Power and Light District before jumping back into the car to head down to the Plaza District for dinner (can't wait for the completion of the streetcar extension from downtown to the Plaza. After dinner at Cooper's Hawk, we walked around the Plaza and shopped in the few shops that were open after 7:00 on a Saturday.

The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly. The general manager Ginelle was great.
The location is perfect for the stadiums and it means you don’t have to fight for an under into Downtown. That said, the generally area isn’t great and there isn’t much to do locally.
