Pool is nice! Hotel is exceptionally beautiful and historic. Beds are super comfy and the food is great. Bathrooms are also really functional. Lots of thought put into textures and materials everywhere and it has a solid, full of integrity feeling.

Very good location, near Boston Common, South and Back Bay Stations, lots of restaurants located near the hotel (walking distance). The room was large and comfy. Didn't use it, but there is a restaurant (Rebel's Guild) in the same building with breakfast (a la carte menu), lunch, and dinner options available.
The location of the hotel was perfect, just a 10/15 min walk to Boston Common and Copley Place. The staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel and rooms were very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again if we come back!
The location is amazing with a lovely view through massive picture windows of the Boston Commons and new capitol building. The apartment is spacious, clean, modern, tasteful, and functional. Beds are comfortable, as is the place in general. Peter was very responsive to our every need.

We like that we were able to move to another room, Katherine from reception gave us a bigger, better room , she exerted a lot of effort, did her best to find us a nicer room, clean room in the 15th floor, that was really nice of her. We like that the hotel's location is closed to theaters, Chinatown, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, subway station, trolley ticket center and closed to good restaurants.It is an ideal location for vacationers. We did not order breakfast at the hotel since we always leave very early for our tours.
Location is obviously great, right there on Tremont and School and near the Public Gardens and Boston Common and T stops and shopping. Can't get much better than that. It's a nice old hotel that looks great in the lobby, but really just looks old when you get to your room.
Good breakfast. Great locale near Boston common. We loved the activities the hostel offered, Boston at dark in the north end, Salem with the witch game, charles river cruise, pub crawl.
Location. Location. Location! We walked everywhere. The hotel is located just minutes away from Fanueil Hall, Quincy Market, The Waterfront, areas of the Freedom Trail, Boston Common and Beacon Hill. Additionally, the Dagny is beautiful and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Great location! Easy access to public transportation, easy walk to Chinatown, Boston Commons. The ability to have your bags held before checking in or after checking out was a real plus, along with a discount for parking. I stayed in two different rooms while I was at the hotel: a room with a single bed and a room with a queen bed. Both were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, beds comfy with plenty of pillows. Would definitely stay here again.
I liked the proximity to Boston Common and other sites. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel bar and restaurant had great live music. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly.
