This hotel is located very close to the subway station and tram station, it is very convenient and also it's location is very quiet! This hotel also closed to a lot of famous attractions, like 15 minutes walking distance. The subway and the tram also take you go to the other part of the Istanbul. For some people maybe the room is a little bit small, but it is ok for me and my husband, because it is just a place to sleep and also it is very clean. The staff are very friendly, we always said Hi to each other.

If you are interested in major historical sites, the location of the hotel is superb. Stuff is lovely, rooms are very uniquely decorated, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is excellent with the great variety of local savory and sweet options. It’s have been just an amazing experience and we will be back!!

Too expensive ticket, but if you enter, do eat before entering and grab with yourself a bigger bottled water. There is no place to get a water inside, one spot sells drinks at multiple times the normal price. The trip may last around 3 hours so eat well beforehand. Really recommend going early, as later in the day and after 2 + hours after opening, it gets too crowdy.

There are so many architectural, cultural and historical wonders to see, that you should arrive first thing in the morning because it will take you all day. Carry something to eat and drink in your backpack.

visit the jewellery section first. its a must visit. followed by the section for old religious relics. the kitchen , while falls first when you visit the palace, falls first from entrance could be visited at the end, even the section of fire arms could be 2nd last in terms of priorities. or else the Jewels and the religious relics part, which is more important will fall at the end and if you are tired, have kids or have impatient fellow travellers, will not get as much time as you would have liked to give it.

É um palácio muito interessante que vale a pena visitar, sendo que foi casa do sultão do império otomano desde o século XV. Porém, feliz ou infelizmente ainda há muitas áreas do palácio a serem restauradas. Como tal só compensa comprar o bilhete completo (Palácio+Harem+Haia Irine)de 420liras turcas.

Magnaura Palace review - spotlessly clean, breakfast buffet with great views; roof top view and picnic area; owner and front desk staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of local attractions; their English is excellent and they have good connections to local guides, restaurants, and taxis. The location is super convenient to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace , Hippodome, and metro tram. Host even loaned their Istanbul Metro card for the day.
The property location is ideal. Very near to all major attractions of old city like blue mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace and grand bazar. Its family run business and i especially appreciate Mr. Berat and his Abla for being so kind and generous with us.
Breakfast was lovely, we enjoyed the selection (different kinds of tea, pastries, olives, an omelette station, etc). Location was really perfect, steps away from a bunch of attractions (literally minutes away from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi palace), and the staff truly went above and beyond and were super friendly, 100/10 just for the wonderful people working there. So many pretty mosaics in the hotel! The restaurant was also quite nice, we had a nice dinner there on our first night.

Location, location, location - not that far Topkapi palace gardens, about a 20mins walk to Haggai Sophia and Blue Mosques and a block and half away from a major metro stop with taxis, this hotel is ideally located. The friendly and very helpful staff from the Manager Medheni (sp?), and other staff Rasheed and Emir made my stay so comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone heading to Istanbul.
We loved the property! It felt like home from the comfortably designed spaces (including the courtyard) to the friendliness of the staff (including the resident cat). Each breakfast was amazing full of fresh fruit, pastries, hot dishes which were served by two lovely ladies. The location is steps from the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. While here our daughter needed medications from a pharmacy and the staff helped us with this and made sure we had everything we needed. I would come back and recommend this to all my friends.
The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The public areas could be a bit cleaner. The problem was that the electricity went out in the whole area for several hours each day, which made the stay uncomfortable.
The location was unbeatable. Several best known historic sites (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, etc.) were within walking distance, as was the Grand Bazaar.
