Not much left after the last earthquake but worth the visit.
Not much left after the last earthquake but worth the visit. Unfortunately I arrived to view very late in the day. Not good if you are on your own as there were some folk trying to harrass me into buying books, pamplets etc. Felt uncomfortable and uneasy. If you're on your own, visit during the day as many tours go through there.

A significant place if you like your history, even though there is not much left. Free to enter but because of this there are annoying sellers targeting tourists with overpriced books and tat. Funny how they leave other Turks alone...

Very cute hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood on the hillside of Selcuk. Just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants, St John’s Basilica and the ruins of Artemis Temple. The rooms are decorated with beautiful tiles and wooden ceilings. The staff are exceptional—they’re very friendly and helpful, and greeted me with Turkish coffee after a long day out in Ephesus. Breakfast was abundant and tasty.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Agon Ephesus Hotel! I highly recommend it. The location is unbeatable, with ancient ruins and the Artemis Temple just a short walk away. The hotel is brand new and impeccably clean, and the minimalist rooms are so comfortable. Hotel’s owner is very friendly, eager to tell all the amazing history behind this ancient city, who also built this impressive hotel himself. I had a wonderful time chatting with him. A memorable experience!
On the way back from my coastal trip in Turkey I spend a night in this cosy hotel. It is surrounded by historical sites and museums. Artemis Temple is just next to the hotel and ancient town of Ephesus is in walking distance. Very clean and had all the things I needed. Well decorated garden with historical artifacts. Loved the breakfast they served. Friendly owners gave a lot of tips to visit surroundings. Definitely coming back for a longer stay. Great stay and great value for money!
I loved this spot on the earth! You can see the Artemis temple from the restaurant, I watched the sunset and sunrise over this ancient revered spot… And the restaurant’s meals felt like home cooked by your favourite grandmother! Exceptional food from breakfast to dinner! The staff beyond helpful, they treat you kike family, and the grounds completely gorgeous, thank you!

The hotel is located near the Artemis Temple and St John Basilica. It is also less than a 10 min drive to Ephesus archeological site and it's a walking distance to the Selcuk town.
Rooms were beautiful and the bed was comfortable.

Great breakfast, I especially liked the fresh fruits and vegetables. Location is also great, just a short walk to st. John's church and castle, Artemis temple is also walking distance.

Breakfast is plentiful and excellent. I felt very safe here as a lone female traveller. Was easy to hire a bicycle here to ride to Ephesus.
