This is fabulous hotel on the edge of town - the staff were a highlight, from my checkin with Richard to the incredibly warm and helpful Tina and other receptionist from the UK, and really great bar staff Davide, Tito, and Tartour who were genuinely friendly and as interested in the landscape and all Svalbard has to offer. The company is fortunate to have such great staff!
The hotel was perfectly cosy and inviting as were its staff! The n. lights can be seen from the back of the hotel - it was perfect.
Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is ideally located, close to the "shopping mile" where you can find everything, and is very nice and cosy with a nice restaurant and a lovely pub. Breakfast selection in the morning is very varied. The staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. The new years eve menu was delicious and they were really dedicated to make the guests enjoy their evening. I truly enjoyed my stay here and thank you to the staff for their great work.
