The staff were super friendly and very helpful during our stay. The room size is quite large compared to most of the other accommodation we have stayed at around Sri Lanka.
The pool was a really nice bonus to have after a morning safari.
The location is a little bit out of town but that was our preference since it was so close to the park entrance.

Nice big room and great pool. The hosts are really friendly and nice and made the stay even better. We had such a nice welcome and it felt good right away. The hosts are always there when you need something. They make great juices, pancakes and food. The location is not too far from the entrance of Udalawawa NP.

stay in a locals b&b and book a tour with a local guide. we stayed in a familt b&b and had this most amazing safar in the park for 4hrs with the son of the family we stayed with.. its cost s £20 each and has been one of the best things we ever did. our guide didn't follow all the other trucks and we go to see amazing animals up close and all on our own.

Amazing saw lots of elephants, around the reservoir bathing...
Amazing saw lots of elephants, around the reservoir bathing and eating and young ones playing and rolling. Also saw elephants randomly throughout safari. Saw Crocodiles basking, mongoose, water buffalo plus Peacocks , one displaying his full plumage to his Hen. Saw a great variety of birdlife including a large owl. Recommend 6.00 am start - GREAT EXPERIENCE

Great place to see wildlife, but too many jeeps charging around! Note some wildlife can be seen from the road beside the Reservoir in the evening when the animals come to drink. (We saw deer, water buffalo and elephants).
Visit the Elephant Orphans feeding station just outside the park.

This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Udawalawe national park. The staff was excellent, and the hotel was a real beauty. A lovely pool made sure we could cool down, and a small balcony outside our room gave us extra space to relax.
We would highly recommend booking a safari through this hotel. We went in the afternoon (from 14.00 to 18.00), and we had a great time. Our guide was excellent - so knowledgable and comsiderate.
We would also recommend the dinner at the hotel - a superb curry buffet.
This is a great place to stay for a visit to Udawalawe National Park. The hotel is lovely, we had a wonderful home cooked breakfast and dinner made by his wife and he took us round his garden filled with different spices and trees. Would recommend.

An incredible stay! This is more of a boutique hotel with a personal touch, run by a lovely family who couldn’t do enough for us. The location is ideal for the Udawalawe National Park and the safari the hotel arranged for us was excellent. They understood my gluten free diet better than anyone else in Sri Lanka so far and the breakfast and dinner they provided for us were delicious. Highly recommended.

It was clean, food was awesome, had drinks and dinner every day! It is close to Udawalawe National Park and you can book the tour organised by the hotel without hesitation!
Exceptional hotel in a superb location. This was the most comfortable hotel friends and I stayed in during our two-week travels around Sri Lanka. The high standards are evident everywhere. The decor throughout, the restaurant, pool area and rooms are high quality and cleanliness is obvious everywhere you look. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel is so well situated for visiting Udawalawe National Park.
