Wild culture Yala is a property worth the visit. The team led by property manager -Vassa is so warm and welcoming. The rooms are well done, the decor and the overall aesthetics of the rooms are quite well done. The food is made to order and the chef is also really good. Delicate flavors in food, highlighting the local produce and flavors. Vassa n team really went leaps and bounds to accommodate our wishes as it was our anniversary. I would recommend this property to all

We have had a fantastic week at Rock Wild Yala. This is a small friendly hotel situated in the Sri Lankan Jungle. The rooms and grounds are clean and well appointed. The staff are attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was astounding. The new chef produced some delicious dishes for dinner and our choices for breakfast were fully catered for.
From our room we saw Peacocks, Hornbills, Monitor Lizards, Tufted Grey Langur (Monkey), Buffalo and a Mongoose. Plus other birds.

Clean, rustic rooms in the middle of the paddy fields. Tidy pool and some sun beds. Good food. Safari can be booked through them and a packed breakfast is provided if you're going for an early morning safari. We had dinner there, egg fried rice and salad and it was tasty. It's value for money
