EVERYTHING! We were in heaven from the moment we entered the gates. The staff were AMAZING! Sheehan took so much time to make our stay so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble and there was such a community feel. Rooms were huge and stunning, pool area was amazing, food was great and we thought reasonably priced! The safari was very smooth and easy.

Attanayaka the hotel manager was exceptional! He was always willing to help and made our trip very easy. He organised our trip to the Yala National Park and went over and above for us on New Years. Chef Nuwan was excellent in making us food each night and providing us with a breakfast in the morning before our 5am safari.
Pool is awesome as well and great location as it is a short walk from the beach.

These cute houses in between the palmtrees, with an infinity pool looking over the rice fields are simply beautiful. A calm getaway for everyone to enjoy. Special mention goes to Bala, who did everything he could to make our stay even more pleasant. A wonderful hardworking man. From doing front desk to cooking the most delicious rice and curry we've had and even making us breakfast to go (on his birthday!!) at 4 in the morning before leaving to safari - this man truly deserves the best and I hope the owners give him a raise when they read this. He deserves it!
Long story short: highly recommend staying here.

While I was a very, very late and unexpected booking (I only booked 15 minutes before arriving at the property), the staff jumped into action upon my arrival. After cranking up the generator (Sri Lanka was suffering from enforced power cuts), my air-conditioned room was offered up in a matter of minutes. This was indicative of my stay with staff being friendly, responsive and eager to please (they also organised an all-day private safari at Yala National Park for me). My room was spacious, and my breakfasts and dinners were tasty and filling.
