The house far exceeded expectations in every way. The photographs don’t do it justice. It is fairly isolated but certainly not remote, but I guess if you don’t have a driver or your own transport it might be difficult to get anywhere.
The staff were lovely and the food they prepared was delicious home cooked Sri Lankan cuisine.
We loved that in the area around the house there was lots of wildlife and even more if you went to platform at end of garden overlooking the lake.

This was the highlight of my month in Sri Lanka - I have been staying at a new accommodation every three or so nights and Treasure Rock was incredible and far superior to anywhere else. You HAVE to stay here if you are lucky enough to have the chance.
The most stellar element of this place is the staff. Fawmy is an incredible chef and absolutely spoiled me with delicious food that was better than many of the restaurants I have eaten at throughout my trip. Everyone is kind, generous, helpful, friendly and genuine in wanting to make your stay special. And they succeeded! I loved staying here so much I booked an extra four nights because I didn’t want to leave.
The mattress is comfortable, bedding is beautiful and everything is spotlessly clean.
This property itself is stylish and thoughtfully furnished and designed. It is in a great location, right opposite the beach, close enough to the necessary services but removed enough that it is quiet and tranquil.
Furthermore, when I was unwell the lovely team went above and beyond to help me, providing breakfast even when I had slept through ‘til the afternoon, making up my bed with fresh sheets almost daily since I sweated through them with a fever, and even dropped off the occasional juice or king coconut in the afternoon as a surprise, without any prompt - they just made an extra effort daily.
When I am back in Sri Lanka,staying at this place is a priority for me and it should be for you too.

The Hotel was a perfect choice. We booked for one night, but stayed one night more.
The guys working there are top! All of them were friendly, nice and willing to help. The food was prepared with a big love.
The room was so good equipped with everything you needed. Very clean and cozy.

The owner and chef, Mr. Shaluka, was an excellent host, who always tried to help and please us with our requests.
There is only one room, so you get all the attention from the host. He is a super friendly guy, who fulfills all your wishes. Breakfast and dinner are amazing and more than you can eat 😋 The beach is just a few steps away. It's absolutely beautiful and pieceful.
We had a great time there. We do highly recommend this quiet place. And we also recommend going on Safari to Yala with the host's friend.
This place was truly special. Positioned in front of the beach. The staff is truly amazing and their cusine is highly recommended (especially the fish). I even got to paint on the outer walls of my room and plant a coconut. I truly wish to be back once Mari is grown into a beautiful coconut tree
The swimming pool was the cleanest and most transparent that I have seen so far. The owners, a lovely couple, were very friendly and helpful. This is ideal place for nature lovers. Dinner was delicious. It is a great place to stay. They had zero coke! (hard to find in Sri Lanka)
