Really everything. The location is superb with a view of the lake, 5 mn walking to town, yet it is totally calm and quiet.
The staff is superb. Very pleasant, helpful, and responds to requests immediately with a smile.
My room was large, modern, and had a balcony to just sit and look at the lake, the Temple of the Tooth and the Queen's Bath, the view of the town at night was beautiful.
A bit surreal for me, but monkeys were sitting on neighborly roofs and on my balcony at breakfast.
Last but not least, the food is excellent; they have a very good chef. Breakfast was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka. Tasty and copious; great way to start the day. The staff is very accommodating. Because I had an early tour, the staff had coffee ready for me at 5am with a carry out snack.
Finally, a good word for the manager who arranged safe transportation to Polonnaruwa and was so pro-active in so many other ways. I definitely recommend this hotel.

My friend and I have been traveling for six weeks and this is the best hotel we’ve been in so far. The staff was excellent and offered to pick us up at the train station for free. The room was spotless and the linens smelled so nice. We had a beautiful view From our patio. The breakfast was great. The whole experience was very very nice. We both felt well rested after leaving there.

This is the one of the nicest parts of Kandy to walk - however please take note Kandy Tourist association that the area surrounding the water of the lake needs cleaning regularly to ensure the wildlife continues to flourish. Please keep it clean either with paid employees or gather some volunteers to regularly get rid of the rubbish coming down the river into the lake and surrounding areas

The pictures where as shown. Large room, bed very comfortable, extremely clean, hot water 24/7. Safe area.
The location is excellent. 2 blocks away from Kandy Lake View and 15 walk to city center. Be aware that most of the Hotels are located on the hills.
The owner was waiting on my arrival, gave me a tour of the property and was always smiling and ready to help me with my many questions about the area. She is authentic when trying to help and it is another reason for enjoying the place so much.

The view of Kandy lake is the best thing in the hotel but it’s up hill and very steep. Also the room was spacious and the staff was helpful as much as they could.
They serve Continental breakfast and excellent coffee. Anna Aisa is next to Hotel Suisse, across Kandy Lake, within walking distance to Kandy Railway station.
Its little hotel but very close to all amenities. 10 min walk to the main road and 15 min walk the Kandy lake. Local transport throughout the day and various other hotels and restaurants nearby.
The hotel was located at a beautiful location providing an outstanding view of the Kandy lake. The room was big enough and cleaned and equipped properly. The staff was hospitable. Cheese on the top, the rooftop pool access - Amazing. Overall a stay worth the price.
The staff were tremendously helpful from check in right through to the late check-out I was offered and made use of. My room was a good size with downstairs bathroom and a spacious balcony with a wonderful view across Kandy Lake to The Temple of the Tooth. Breakfasts were very substantial and tasty with a choice of Sri Lanka or Western food. I had one of each and they were equally good. The hotel is very central so you can walk to most places.
The location of the hotel was just walking distance from Dalada Maligawa. Staff was courteous and attentive. Comfy beds. Pool was clean and well-maintained. We could see part of the Kandy Lake from our Lake View rooms. Breakfast was tasty.

Very nice new hotel very close to the Kandy lake and to the city center. From the Kandy station it is possible to reach the hotel with a 20/25 minutes walk or with a short ride in a tuk tuk.
The rooms are quite big and provides all the necessary amenities. Bonus point for the shower with very nice pressure and very hot water (this was an exception considering the other hotel where we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka).
The staff of the hotel has been very available to help us during our stay and to organise the next stage of our trip.
