The view was very nice and the staff was very helpful and kind, really doing their best to take care of us. The hotel was very nicely decorated for Christmas and the rooms were very spacious.
A small suggestion: please include more vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers when there are European guests.

Kandy has some interesting attractions from the spice garden to the big buddha to the cultural dance show all the way to an excellent modern movie theater. Do beware of leeches in the wet grass (which is everywhere). The tuktuk prices vary (use pickme app for an estimate of what it could cost, but beware it's only an estimate, the actual time will be charged). The buses are great value, if you can navigate them. There are KFC, pizza Hutt and domino's, but you can get good kottu pretty much anywhere.

Strolled the lively streets, enjoying Kandy’s unique charm, before returning to my hotel to relax in its serene ambiance. The next morning, I woke to the beauty of the hotel surroundings, a perfect end to my stay. Truly an unforgettable experience blending adventure, culture, and tranquility in this stunning city.

Kandy is a busy city but has many interesting features...
Kandy is a busy city but has many interesting features making for a day or two stay. The highlight for us was the Botanical Garden as we prefer nature to city life. The historic part of the city and visiting the Buddhist temple was also very interesting. The city has an abundance of frenetic traffic and the fumes make it annoying to walk around too much, but for a day or two to take in the sites it’s tolerable.

This is the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka! Nestled away in the hills of Kandy, it’s such a peaceful escape from the city. For the price, the room is absolutely huge with a beautiful balcony also. The views from the property are stunning. The host was extremely friendly & welcoming, always asking us if we would like tea & bringing us snacks throughout the day.
We ordered food in one night because it’s around a 30 minute walk to town. Perfect place if you want a mix between city & nature for your stay in Kandy :)
This is a cosy, charming & friendly place in the hill capital Kandy. Just a short drive from the city centre, it's nested on one side of overlooking the Hanthana mountains range We loved staying in the Grand Hills hotel. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning view at the mountains. Nice pool. Good wifi, breakfast & dinner delicious. beautiful Garden. Excellent service. bedroom, bathroom private balcony spotless clean. Definitely our best stay in Sri Lanka.
The hotel is in a good location and in close proximity to the Kandy city centre and all the attractions around.
The rooms were new with comfortable beds and of a good size room for the price. The authentic Sri Lankan breakfast is good and recommended for an extra $10.
