Everything was top notch, from the staff, the check-in process, the family room, the amenities, facilities and the super close location to Ikebukuro station.
It was slightly pricey, but when I finally arrived at the hotel, I understand it's value. I would have truly loved to stay more days if I could, cos it totally exceeded my expectations.

Onsen was great. I liked the relaxation area by the onsen, too.

The Onsen was wonderful. I had never visited an onsen before, I really enjoyed it. The open create your own drink bar in the evenings had a very nice assortment of wines, spirits, and mixers, to include some Japanese favorites I had never tried. The pillow bar was much appreciated, as the buckwheat(?) pillow that was in my room was a little firmer than what I am used to. Everything was very clean - the room, the onsen, the hotel. I would definitely book a stay here again!

We love how warm and homey the lobby was. There’s a Lawson right around the corner. Although it is around a 10minute walk from the JR station, we love the area / neighborhood and didn’t mind the walk as there were several restaurants around
