Everything was top notch, from the staff, the check-in process, the family room, the amenities, facilities and the super close location to Ikebukuro station.
It was slightly pricey, but when I finally arrived at the hotel, I understand it's value. I would have truly loved to stay more days if I could, cos it totally exceeded my expectations.

my family occupied 1 regular room and 1 with kitchenette. worked for us because I've been wanting to try the fresh meat and fish from the nearby supermarket. exhaust fans were ok, no more food smells after a while. location was good, close to 3 convinis, train and tram station, and Sunshine City. our rooms were small and clean, typical of hotels in Japan.
the hotel has connecting doors to Sunshine City mall which has a variety of stores including Disney, Studio Ghibli, Sanrio, Pokemon and more, once you exit the mall, you can also shop and eat around Sunshine 60 (has uniqlo, abc mart etc). This made shopping and having meals so convenient. within the hotel, there is also Family Mart.
there is also direct drop off via airport limo bus which makes it super convenient as we do not need to take the train

The location of the hotel is very convenient, it's located close to the sunshine city mall Also close to the animate and other stores aswell. I love that the 7/11 is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel and that they have food vending machines incase you get hungry during the late hours when places are closed
I liked the friendliness of the staff and how accommodating they were to any concerns or questions we had. The rooms were clean and very nice. We liked the fact that there is laundry room in the hotel to do our own laundry. The area is very nice and quaint not very busy, so it is easy to get a good rest. There are convenience stores nearby, and sunshine city mall is very close. Made shopping trips very easy.
