Breakfast is included with the reservation. The breakfast is decent, not bad, but not great. Made to order pancakes and skewers. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, salad, cereal and a few other items. 24 hour coffee service. There’s also complimentary tea and sake until 9pm. Rooms are spacious by Japan standards. Laundry is complementary, but the laundry room is right next to the smoking room. There are also some complementary drinks included in the refrigerator in the room.

Very well kept considering the age of the property. It is also perfectly adorned with just the right amount of decorations. The river running through beside the property was a bonus. Our room was right next to it. It was also a short walking distance to the village. The staff, all family members of the owner, were so wonderful and accommodating. The owner also gave a tour of the village all the way up to the observation deck were you see the entire Shirakawago village. We were sad to leave.
Everything. It was an amazing experience and everyone working there was just incredible. We would recommend everyone passing through Shirakawago to stay here. It was simply unforgettable.
Great location and close to Shirakawago. The onsen is very well maintained with multiple baths. Room was huge and well furnished. Staff was very courteous. The meals were great.

Despite of the location is a little bit far but the hotel provides all of quality services. Everything is well organized.
nice facility with onsen and outdoor onsen, snow everywhere during winter, beautiful room with space for the whole family. there’s activities to join as well just go to the community area and sign up. they also able to pick you up and take you back to shirakawago bus terminal upon request
The apartment owner was very nice, friendly and caring about the customer. When we came to the apartment, they prepared the kotatsu, kairo heat and the food for us. The room was big, warm and very near to the Shirakawago village and restaurant. The facilities operated well. All were amazing! And the home owners and their children were hospitable and kawaii! Highly recommend!
