We have been traveling in Japan with my family of 4 for 3 weeks. This hotel has the largest room, the kids enjoy the tent and the projector with the free Netflix and Youtube access. Its 3 minutes from Takayama Station and 10min walk to old town. Restaurants all over the place. They serve the best selection of breakfast and made to order delicious, fluffy pancake and chicken skewers by their amazing chefs, made to order. They even have mochi and ice cream for breakfast. Overall, very satisfied and will stay here over and over again when we visit Takayama.

Absolutely beautiful and highly recommended for all tourists...
Absolutely beautiful and highly recommended for all tourists. It is worth staying at a Ryokan but pricey. Most attractions close 4pm so come early to make the most of the day. Buy tickets for bus services in advance which is the most direct route.

Great location and close to Shirakawago. The onsen is very well maintained with multiple baths. Room was huge and well furnished. Staff was very courteous. The meals were great.
1. Place is 15min walk from the Shirakawago bus stop
2. There are few restaurants around and a convenient store (6am to 11pm)

We found that hotel for the last day of Shirakawago Light up event.
We were very happy about this.
The staff give us a lot of useful information, shuttle bus and even tickets.
Despite of the location is a little bit far but the hotel provides all of quality services. Everything is well organized.
nice facility with onsen and outdoor onsen, snow everywhere during winter, beautiful room with space for the whole family. there’s activities to join as well just go to the community area and sign up. they also able to pick you up and take you back to shirakawago bus terminal upon request
The place is very clean, good wifi, good food. Location is great a bit far from Shirakawago but I have car so no problem. Behind the room has a very nice stunning view.
Very clean. Bath towel provided. Snacks and drinks available for purchase. About 15 mins walk from Shirakawago bus terminal and about 30 mins walk to the observation deck if you don’t mind the walk.
The apartment owner was very nice, friendly and caring about the customer. When we came to the apartment, they prepared the kotatsu, kairo heat and the food for us. The room was big, warm and very near to the Shirakawago village and restaurant. The facilities operated well. All were amazing! And the home owners and their children were hospitable and kawaii! Highly recommend!
