We were blown away by the views! I highly recommend booking the Garden View rooms here. We spent over an hour spotting all the famous landmarks in Tokyo, and with the help of our camera's zoom lens, we managed to see them clearly. Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Dome, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, the entire Shibuya and Shinjuku areas, and more – you can even see the Landmark Tower in Yokohama from the room! Everything else, from cleanliness to service and breakfast, was top-notch. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.

All the staff without exception were so helpful. I arrived a day late as my flight was cancelled at the last minute which meant I checked in on my birthday. The staff at reception & in the restaurants all recognised this & made what might have been a disappointing start to the holiday so special.

The owner is very friendly and willing to assist you personally. Bathroom was separate but private and spacious, even with bath tub! It was very relaxing to take a bath with bath aroma pack you can grab from reception, especially after days with long walks.

The room was quite spacious, and the amenities in the room worked well. Location was also good: it was around a 15 minute walk from Shinjuku station, which is connected with almost everywhere. The hotel also had two convenience stores in the building, which was obviously, very convenient.
the bed is of good size, clean bedsheet, clean premises, towels, sleepers provided and change daily. shower bath, shampoo and conditional all there.. plus hairdryer.

Good location about 1.5km to Shinjuku station. Walking distance to Harajuku also. Clean and nice room, smallest of our stay so far but it was 14m2 so to be expected. Bakery on ground floor of hotel is delicious.
The apartment is conveniently located: on a quiet street, away from city noise, 5-7 minutes walk to the nearest subway station, 2-3 minutes by train to Shinjuku station, nearby there is a supermarket, a fruit store, many other shops and cafes.
The apartment is spacious enough for Tokyo standards. The room was clean.
The owner is friendly and helpful. He even met me by car from the subway station and drove me to the subway station when I finished my stay.

The location was good, a short walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was my personal favourite part of the hotel - it was quite spacious and more comfortable to use than most other hotels we stayed at during our trip. 7-11 in the basement was very convenient and we grabbed a lot of quick meals/snacks there on days when we were hungry later at night/busy in the morning.
The onsen in the hotel is nice!! enjoyed it every evening!

Simple check in process with friendly staff. The hotel is located next to Higashi-Shinjuku Station, which connects you to most places in Tokyo in no more than two trains. The room itself was small, as was to be expected, but tidy and more than adequate. There were numerous amenities offered for selection in the reception, and there were coin operated washers and dryers
We stayed in this hotel 7 years agoand loved the hotel and it's right by Shinjuku station. The hotel amenities are great the room small but well equipped. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast had a great selection with the chef making fresh omlettes

It tool me weeks to find a spacious hotel, as Japans hotels are usually super small.
This one is perfect, complete with kitchenette, microwave, washing machine/dryer, bathroom with batch tub. Very impressively clean & spotless. Nearby Food mart and restaurants just outside the hotel. I love it and I highly recommend. Thank you Oakwood!
