Great atmosphere, spacious - just great. Location and views superb.
The Kamon served wonderful Teppanyaki, top class, by great Chef and serving staff. Kudos!
Rooms (we had one each) really great in all respects.
Well set in the center of Osaka, Miyako City Osaka Hommachi provides buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property.

Quiet, safe location- near subway/train. More traditional layout but we loved that. The sheet didn’t stay on the mattress on the side against the wall (there was no daily room service, which is fine and we could have asked for them to come fix it but I just moved the sheet back over every night). We did not use the onsen, but we did do laundry! we are trying to survive 2 weeks with only carry-ons and the laundry was great to have (wash is free and dryer is cheap- just have to dry twice to really get everything dry). Could not hear anyone above/below/beside us. The soap/shampoo made my hair silky soft and the hair dryer worked well. No in room safe, but we do not travel with valuables. They held our luggage the next day so we could head out to breakfast and move our luggage later. The bed is very firm but my back likes that. In room air conditioning worked really well.

It's quite a walk from the station to the actual castle but seeing it up close is really cool. I know it's a reconstruction but it's just amazing seeing that traditional architecture and getting to walk around the castle grounds. I didn't have a lot of time to do any particular tours but I think I would want to visit again with a tour guide to check it out in more depth.

Incredible! So much information and history.
Incredible! So much information and history. Descriptions of exhibits were well written and interesting. And the reenactment videos was super cool!
When you enter the castle, before you go up the elevator, the staff informs everyone that no photos are to be taken on certain floors (3F & 4F). There are signs everywhere that say no photos, and also a staff member walking around the designated area with a sign that says “no photos.” Unfortunately, many people were still taking pictures in the “no photo” areas, which was very rude & inconsiderate. Be respectful & don’t be those people.

Its wonderful from the outside - but the inside has been gutted and is now a museum - it mainly outlines the history of the castle and the family of the man who built it. Its a nice experience but I would have adored to see some original interior (even rebuilt)

Give this a miss - it’s pretty from the outside but it’s very very commercialised (it’s a new reconstruction, all replicas). If you’ve travelled through Japan and you’ve seen original architecture, Osaka Castle will not impress.

everything is perfect..very friendly staffs and very very clean and most of all best location in the middle of the top 3 triangular traveling spots and lots of Japanese restaurantsand westernstylerestaurants includingItalianand Chineserestaurantsaround hotel and ..3 travelling spots, namely UMEDA OSAKA STATION and OSAKA CASTLE and NAMBA AREA..Thanks to friendly staffs here~
Castle park is just located aside of the hotel. My room can see the Osaka Castle. When the light is on at night, the castle looks cool indeed. Room and clean and comfort. Breakfast is basically good with all the quality and options of the foods but if you are a coffee freak you will definitely be upset because they do not have coffee machine but just super mild boiled coffee in the pot.
Great location for the event I attended by Osaka Castle. The room is larger than most Japanese Business hotels. Short walk to the train station and many restaurants.
Amazing hotel, close to convenience stores, public transportation and the Osaka castle. Staff was very friendly! Rooms were spacious, clean and silent and all necessary amenities were there. We could also charge our phones with the usb ports in the walls and didn't need to buy adapters.
A wonderful hotel, walking (30 min) distance from Osaka castle and Osaka history museum (a must)! Metro station 3 minutes away from the hotel.
The hotel has a youthful vibe, breakfast is a la carte, just 3 choices, but very good.
The view from the roof is fabulous!
There is a bar (and a free beer one hour a day) and a Cafe in the building.
A nice lounge where one can work and have some free tea/coffee.
Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
I loved that the hotel was very new and clean. The design is also very new and modern. The location is very conveniently in front of the subway station and Keihan mall which has lots of dining and shopping choices. It's also near Osaka Castle.
