Great area.
Great area. If you got to the castle complex, as you are looking at the castle, there is a path off to the left that has an amazing view and was the best spot there I found for good pictures without the crowds.

If you can get tickets ahead of time, do so. the ticket line was longer than the line to get in.
Also, take the stairs not the elevator, if you can (much longer line at the elevator). You can rest on each floor if you cannot do all 8 stories at once.

It's quite a walk from the station to the actual castle but seeing it up close is really cool. I know it's a reconstruction but it's just amazing seeing that traditional architecture and getting to walk around the castle grounds. I didn't have a lot of time to do any particular tours but I think I would want to visit again with a tour guide to check it out in more depth.

Incredible! So much information and history.
Incredible! So much information and history. Descriptions of exhibits were well written and interesting. And the reenactment videos was super cool!
When you enter the castle, before you go up the elevator, the staff informs everyone that no photos are to be taken on certain floors (3F & 4F). There are signs everywhere that say no photos, and also a staff member walking around the designated area with a sign that says “no photos.” Unfortunately, many people were still taking pictures in the “no photo” areas, which was very rude & inconsiderate. Be respectful & don’t be those people.

Its wonderful from the outside - but the inside has been gutted and is now a museum - it mainly outlines the history of the castle and the family of the man who built it. Its a nice experience but I would have adored to see some original interior (even rebuilt)

The hotel is very close to the Osaka Castle and the JR line circle with easy access to the airport and the JR line to other cities for day trips. I recommend you choose a room with the view to the castle
The room was clean, the location was quiet. The hotel was close to a family mart, Osaka castle, and the history museum of Osaka. There are also small restaurants nearby. Walking distance to subway station.
Forza Hotel is conveniently located near Kitahama Station, making it easy to get around. Osaka Castle is also nearby, less than a 30-minute walk away.
All rooms have a separate bathroom and toilet, and the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner have a pleasant fragrance. Each room also comes with a pillow massage feature, which is a nice touch.
Location is a short walk from the subway and a Lawson store. Super clean and functional hotel, with very polite and attentive staff. Walkable to Osaka Castle. Excellent value for money.
It's was good to have 3 separate bedrooms (even if one was the same room as the kitchen) after the 5 of us being squeezed into one room and tiny beds in other places. It also had 3 separate small bathrooms. The location was great for visiting Osaka Castle and close to Metro.
Very well located. Close to the train station, so it made easy to get to Universal Studios Japan, Nara Park and Osaka Castle.
Also it is very close of Shinsekai, that has a lot of good restaurants.
The room is very comfortable, and the care provided by the hotel staff is a big standout. When we arrived, the room temperature was already perfectly adjusted (it was cold outside), they provide laundry soap, and when our bags arrived via takyubin, they were delivered directly to our room.
Hotel is in a quiet area. Rooms were nice and thoughtfully designed. 7-11 across the street for morning and nightly stock up. Staff was really helpful and friendly offering daily water bottles and helping with luggage shipping service. It was easy to get to the river for evening walks and we were able to walk to Osaka Castle.
Good location that is near several landmarks or places to visit - Dotonburi, Osaka Castle etc... and the hotel is connected to a major train station allowing trips to areas further afield like Kyoto, Uji (Nintendo Museum) and Universal Studios etc. The water pressure was great in the shower :) the rooms were clean and included an air cleaner which was appreciated.
Despite the name, the hotel is welcome to all and is situated in a great spot in Osaka. It’s a short walk to Dotonbori and other fun locations and sites in Osaka. While you may want to take a taxi or train to other location such as Osaka Castle what is in the area around the hotel should be more than sufficient for most guests. Despite most of the staff not speaking great English they were very patient and made all attempts to communicate as best as they could with us despite the language barrier and that is always appreciated.
