This 'board game' hotel was the perfect mid-trip surprise for my 12 year old son. He loved being able to sink away from us on his bunk bead, but he especially loved the board games and hotel games. Perfect for families. Kids need a break from museums and walking around and this place provides it. Location is handy, close to Osaka Namba station, though be prepared, the vibe in the neighourhood is busy, touristy, and party-focused. I'm sure with a bit more exploring we could have found some more low-key places to eat and buy food. All in all, ideal for families.

Good location, about 1 KM to walk to Osaka Namba station, Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi-suji. 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen. it is very clean. It also has a washing machine.

The property seems to have been recently renovated and we were lucky enough to end up in one of the newer rooms on the sixth floor.
the room is fairly sized and functional for a couple. Beds are comfortable. Toiletries and other amenities are available in the Hotel lobby.

For those taking trains, can exit gate 25 or 14 from the underground Namba Walk. Gate 15B got elevator.
Then cross the Midosuji Ave., pass thru the lane between Don Quijote store and 1943 restoran, walk straight to 2nd APA Hotel and turn right. The apartment is on the left.

Excellent variety of Japanese and European food for breakfast. We continue our trip across Japan after Osaka Namba and their breakfast has been the best so far
The staff
This hotel is in a great location- close to the Keihan Namba station and the AirPort Express train- but also well situated for touring and restaurants. We liked the modern design of the hotel and our room , which was of a good size. Breakfast was good and in a room with natural light. The free coffee in the lobby area is a nice touch. The staff were accommodating. We would stay here again in Osaka. We thought the value was good.
Location location location. The hotel at 5 min walk from dotonbori where you can saay everything happens. But the hotel is in a quiet zone so you can also enjoy a quiet night of resting. Also, you are 12 min from the nearest station (kintetsy'nipponbashi) and about 15-17 min from osaka namba station.
Also the personal was really nice and polite, they help us to sent our luggage to kanazawa.
Location was great, just a short walk from Dotonbori and Osaka-Namba station. Room was comfortable and not as cramped as other hotels we've stayed at in Japan. Staff was very helpful during check-in and let us store our luggage before and after our stay. It's also a few steps away from a vending machine that sells melon soda (my favorite)!
Very spacious and very technological. Simple to enter and exit and located right in front of a major supermarket and some less than 15 minutes walking from Namba station, the main station in Central Osaka.
I would love to return to this apartment when in Japan again !
