My wife and I stayed at this Temple Hotel. The experience was simply wonderful and surreal. The monk and all the staff were one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. The food was delicious and the level of details were incredible. Spacious room and amenities. We had our wedding/blessing here, all arranged by the hotel, the outcome couldn’t have been better, it really exceeded our expectations.
The monk takes you to the Kuon-ji temple ceremony in the morning and gives you a tour of the temple premises which was amazing.
If you want to experience an authentic temple/hotel stay, this is the place. The monk and all the staff really put their heart in the service.

It was fantastic! We were given a vegan dinner and breakfast and the staff was very careful to remember our dietary restrictions. Our private chalet was super comfortable. The staff were very helpful and kind. It was a wonderful experience.
Very friendly staff and I appreciated that they prepared a vegan dinner and breakfast for me. I also like the view from the rooms of Lake Tanuki and of Mt. Fuji. Great place to watch the sunrise without even leaving your bed.
Clean and well maintained little house close to Fujinomiya station. friendly and welcoming host and lovely ladies working at Cafe. Matcha puff was yummy. two shower rooms and one toilet in the house so it’s best suited for two people. we took the bus to visit waterfalls and lake Tanuki. totally would recommend this place and return in the future.
