Inlove the fact that this hotel only 550m from Kyoto station, a minute walk to 711 and less than 1km to Kamo river. The room is quite spacious for Japan standard, so clean and every primary needs is available. I only stay for a night but I love it!
It's a basic Japanese business hotel, with quite a comfortable bed and a small ensuite bath and shower unit. Checkin and checkout were quick and painless. Free coffee at reception. A few minutes' walk south of Kyoto station.

This was the best hotel we've stayed in Japan. The room was quite spacious compared to other hotels we've been to. The location is great, very close to the Kyoto station. Breakfast is superb with so many options. The onsen is good too. The hotel offers massage chairs in the lounge area which were a great plus.
It was a one of the best location during traveling in Japan. Just connected to Kyoto station, didn't need to search your hotel in the city with your heavy suitcase.
The hotel had a good size room that was beautifully appointed in a Japanese style with shoji screens and plenty of textured finishes. It had tea making facilities and you could top up your tea and bathroom supplies from a self serve section near the reception desk. There was a washing machine on floor 2 if you needed it. The room was cleaned daily if you requested it. The hotel is right next to Kyoto station and can be accessed through the underground tunnels.
It’s very easy to reach the hotel from Kyoto station by train. The hotel is a cool mix of traditional Japanese and western design. It’s one of the few places where they allow people with tattoo in the spa.
We particularly liked that we could have our breakfast in our room so we didn’t have to get up too early for breakfast.
Excellent place - the biggest rooms we’ve had during our trip to Japan - even had a balcony. New facilities, everything very well organized. Common space for eating inside of the hotel if needed, washing machines, oven, microwave etc.

Excellent hotel. Location was brilliant, so close to the Kyoto Station, so public transport was on our doorstep. The room was compact but more spacious than other compact rooms. Well furnished with lots of extra, thoughtful amenities. The spa was gorgeous. I used it every night. It has been my favourite hotel in Japan out of 7.
Good location with Kyoto station around 15 mins walk or 5 mins by bus. Bus stop was just near the hotel. Room size is typical Japanese rooms with all basic amenities available.
