Location was great, walking distance to Kyoto station which has great connections along with plenty of places to shop and eat. There were free desserts in the afternoon which was a nice thing to offer allowing us to try some traditional Japanese sweet treats. Staff was expeceptional nice and friendly, they helped us arrange to transfer our luggage to the next hotel.

Excellent stay, super helpful staff. The room was big enough for a couple (size above average for Japanese hotel room standards). The location was convenient, close to an underground station and only 15mins walk from the main Kyoto station (where the bullet train is). We didn't try the Japanese breakfast, but the "non-Japanese" was good but portions on the small size.
Perfect stay in Kyoto. Location was amazing - just across a beautiful temple, less than 10 minutes from Kyoto Station and 25 min from Nishiki Market. The hotel has a nice traditional Japanese vibe and the room is spacious. Can definitely recommend Hotel Kuu.
We only stayed one night, so unfortunately could not enjoy the hotel to the fullest. Having said that, we were really impressed by the hotel facitilies and traditional Japanese room. They also offered a wide range of activities and services, if you have more time. We were coming from another hotel in Kyoto closer to the Nishiki market; this one was a bit further down, but still walking distance. 15 min by metro to Kyoto station.
This hotel was in a good location, not too far off from Kyoto station. It was probably one of the most spacious places I stayed during my trip in Japan. There weren’t any staff checking you in but the self check in and check out process was very easy to do. If I were to come to Kyoto again I would stay at Elite Inn!
Spacious apartment (above Japanese standards), very clean, easy check-in/check-out process, elevator, balcony, kitchen with all necessary untensils, washing machine, quiet area, close to Kyoto Station.

I loved the common lounge are and learning how to make coffee the Japanese way. The hotel give you free pyjamas and slippers to wear whilst staying at the hotel.

Everything was perfect.The hotel was very well located, near Kyoto station.The bedroom was so nice,, spacious and bright.It was so well equipped, especially the bathroom with an Italian shower place next to a bath.The bed was perfect.All the crew was so kind. From our window we can observe all the life around the railway station, see the mountains and the Shinkansen.
Breakfast was also delicious, delicious Japanese food.

A cozy, clean and very comfortable hotel in a very convenient and beautiful neighborhood near Kyoto Station. It was my first trip to Japan and it was an amazing experience.
It's a small apartment building in a quiet residential area, but close enough to public transport to get around the city. The room had good laundry and kitchen facilities. The entrance lounge looks excellent and the staff I met all spoke English excellently or fluently. You check in at the reception desk near Kyoto station but they shuttle you to your hotel for free.
