Kichijoji Tokyu REI Hotel, hotel in Musashino

Kichijoji Tokyu REI Hotel is just a short 1-minute walk from the JR Kichijoji Station and a 15-minute ride from Shinjuku, Shibuya.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I ended up losing my watch, but the staff quickly found it and returned it to me. I will be staying here again whenever I come back!

Himalaya Cloud Hotel, hotel in Tokyo

Located in Tokyo and with Shosen-ji Temple reachable within a few steps, Himalaya Cloud Hotel has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace.

This is a really nice property and in a great location. One stop away from Shinjuku station in a residential neighborhood. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle a bit. Nice and quiet! The surrounding neigborhood was great, lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Rooftop terrace was divine!

COCOSHUKU Nakano, hotel in Tokyo

Located in Tokyo, a 15-minute walk from Nakano Sun Mall Shopping Street, COCOSHUKU Nakano has rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi.

We booked this for a group of 4, and the value for money is the first reason why we chose this hotel. It’s comfortable and of a pretty decent size. The location is also a stone's throw away from one of the train stations going to Namba, which is really convenient. Speaking of the location, I know many of you are curious about the "safety" issues mentioned in a lot of reviews here. Let’s put things into perspective. I can understand why some people may find it looks "unsafe" because there are some homeless people around the area; however, it always depends on what you consider unsafe. My friends and I come from a country where unsafe means you are really in danger, like crimes and those kinds of stuff, but I am telling you, this area isn’t like that. We never felt unsafe, and there was no reason for us to feel that when we were there. My advice is if homeless people or just a regular residential area will make you feel uncomfortable, then don’t book it. But if you’re okay with staying in an area with real residential life, then give this place a chance.
