Loved everything about Hotel Firenze. Perfect location, with wondeful staff. Everybody was so helpful and very friendly all the time. Loved the decoration in our room and daily complimentary delicacies which made us feel like home away from home. Definitely beyond our expectations.

Location is in a perfect part of Venice, off the "main" streets, but so close to all the must see locations. Bars and restaurants in every direction. Breakfast was great, the lounges and outside sitting areas were a great place to relax and take a break. Would stay here again, without hesitation.

Piazza San Marco
If you want to dig a little deeper into Agrigento’s impressive history, this is the place to come. The Regional Archaeological Museum is full of ancient artifacts from the area’s Hellenic past – each one supported by a fascinating back story. It’s the perfect complement to visiting the Valley of the Temples.

It is always full of people, even at midnight. Put on your patience hat and you will be surprised how fast the lines move. No matter what time of day I visit, I am always surprised by something wonderful.

Go early in the morning, or in the evening, to avoid tourist overcrowding. Learn when the two high tides are. Book St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace and tours for early admission, and do so well in advance of your trip.

Probably the most beautiful square in the world!
Probably the most beautiful square in the world! Very expensive to get coffee etc on the square itself be prepared to pay upward of 15 euro for a beverage and 25 euro for a cocktail in some cafes, but plenty of places cheaper nearby. I’d recommend going during carnival season as when everyone is wandering around in their costumes it’s like going back in time. The architecture is stunning. You can go inside the basilica and doges palace etc, admission fee approximately €15 per entry and the queues can be long so if it’s something you’re interested in perhaps pre book online to get a better deal and skip the line. The architecture is stunning with so many details everywhere you look but also the line of Murano glass chandeliers looks fab at night.

Visit in the evenings, after the cruise-boat tourists have departed and the pigeons have flown to roost, and see it as it truly is. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it should be avoided. Just don't go during the most crowded times, and see for yourself why it became popular in the first place

Many shops and few restaurants on the walkway around St Marco. They are super expensive. On the side street are shops that are cheaper. You can visit the Clock tower for Euro 10. There is a lift to take you atop. Great views from above. No need to buy advance tickets on line which charge you double the entry cost. The Basilica entrance costs Euro 3 and the cost to the rooftop and museum costs Euro 7. Worth a visit. On the side by the waterfront is the entrance to the Dogi palace. Has impressive paintings and rooms. Entrance is Eur 30. Seniors over 65 pay at half price. Well worth a visit.

wonderful all around - but if you sit down, be prepared to pay insane prices (easily double the usual for drinks etc.). Although the ambience (and the life music) in many places is worth it if you don't mind the extra dollar

Apartment was beautifully furnished, warm, close to vaporetto and piazza San Marco. Truly a Venetian apartment fully furnished. Lovely, quite nice view.
Beautiful, old hotel right on the Grand Canal, off the Rialto Bridge. We were in room 10 up an additional flight of stairs. Room was quiet, roomy with good space for luggage. Bathroom was basic with a good shower. No real views from the rooms. Breakfast was good with fresh croissants, made to order eggs, coffee/teas/juices with views of the Grand Canal. Perfect location to reach Piazza San Marcos and the Scuala and Frari easily without being in the middle of all the crowds.
Apartment in a historic building with kitchen, spacious bedrooms and many large living rooms. Views overlooking the rooftops and Venice channels. Central location, a few steps from both the Rialto Bridge, Accademia Bridge and Piazza San Marco. Very convenient for large groups. You can easily go to the breakfast to nice cahe few steps away. We liked everything here, would come again :)
I really like that room was spacious, there were kettle and small fridge which is very convenient. I like the location of the hotel, it is in 10 min walk from (Piazza San Marco). There is also a very nice grocery store close by.
The location could not be more perfect. Only maybe 50 m away from Piazza San Marco. The apartment was on the 4th floor but we knew about that ahead of time. Alberto who was our contact was absolutely amazing. He was very prompt to respond to a small mechanical issue with an AC unit, he was very friendly and a joy to talk to. While, the apartment is small, this is to be expected in a crowded place like Venice. Overall a great experience.
The hotel was a few steps away from Piazza San Marco and our room was very quiet and we didn't have the tourist crowds when we walked outside the hotel. Our room widows looked over the rooftops of the Piazza San Marco buildings , very nice . You are also in walking distance to all the other site seeing areas without needing the water bus or water taxi's. The staff were the best and very helpful with anything we needed or to setup reservations.
Had an amazing stay at this apartment! The location is amazing! Located within a few steps to Piazza San Marco, very close to shopping, restaurants and vaporetto stations/water taxis. Carla was very helpful, accommodating and very kind. She was quick in responding to our inquiries. The staff made sure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The host arranged the airport transfer for us. Thank you, Veronica and Carla! ❤️ The apartment was very clean, spacious and well-equipped.
Would definitely stay at your apartment again!
Amazing location, just 5 min walk to Piazza San Marco, and beautiful apartment! 2 bedrooms with each having their own on suite bathroom was exceptional. The kitchen area and sitting room were so comfortable and well equipped. The furnishings are so elegant and the beautiful curtains frame windows that have beautiful views of quaint walkways and even a view of the canal. Very comfortable beds and the Aircon was fantastic and much appreciated.
Hotel’s location was great as it was near Piazza San Marco and so many restaurants and shopping. Great cafe is attached to the hotel as well. Staff was nice and helpful. We felt like we were immersed in the neighborhood as It was nice to open up the windows and see people moving about below.
-very nice location right next to the luxury shopping street and Piazza San Marco.
- Rooms are spacious and clean (compare to average hotels in Venice)
- staff are friendly and helpful
