The hotel is situated in a calm alley in the middle of all the action. It literally just takes a few steps to St. Marco’s Square. We also liked that there are many dining options near the hotel. The staff were warm and friendly. They were also helpful and responsive and even guided us to the taxi berth to ensure we reached the correct one. The breakfast was amazing with wide variety and allow us to request for hot items to be made on the spot eg pancake and waffles. Restaurants nearby and other sight seeing places were also easily accessible.

Go early in the morning, or in the evening, to avoid tourist overcrowding. Learn when the two high tides are. Book St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace and tours for early admission, and do so well in advance of your trip.

Probably the most beautiful square in the world!
Probably the most beautiful square in the world! Very expensive to get coffee etc on the square itself be prepared to pay upward of 15 euro for a beverage and 25 euro for a cocktail in some cafes, but plenty of places cheaper nearby. I’d recommend going during carnival season as when everyone is wandering around in their costumes it’s like going back in time. The architecture is stunning. You can go inside the basilica and doges palace etc, admission fee approximately €15 per entry and the queues can be long so if it’s something you’re interested in perhaps pre book online to get a better deal and skip the line. The architecture is stunning with so many details everywhere you look but also the line of Murano glass chandeliers looks fab at night.

Visit in the evenings, after the cruise-boat tourists have departed and the pigeons have flown to roost, and see it as it truly is. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it should be avoided. Just don't go during the most crowded times, and see for yourself why it became popular in the first place

Many shops and few restaurants on the walkway around St Marco. They are super expensive. On the side street are shops that are cheaper. You can visit the Clock tower for Euro 10. There is a lift to take you atop. Great views from above. No need to buy advance tickets on line which charge you double the entry cost. The Basilica entrance costs Euro 3 and the cost to the rooftop and museum costs Euro 7. Worth a visit. On the side by the waterfront is the entrance to the Dogi palace. Has impressive paintings and rooms. Entrance is Eur 30. Seniors over 65 pay at half price. Well worth a visit.

wonderful all around - but if you sit down, be prepared to pay insane prices (easily double the usual for drinks etc.). Although the ambience (and the life music) in many places is worth it if you don't mind the extra dollar

Stunning apartment with beautiful furniture, excellent bathroom, practical kitchen with dishwasher and Illy coffee machine, close to Piazza San Marco, Paola very friendly and helpful when she was there.
Well, as most other people have pointed out you need to get a key somewhere else, according to my email it was at hotel Lux, but hotel lux was closed and had a note pointing to another hotel, so i went there, and everything went smoothly, however i do not believe that the adress of my "new" room was the same as the one stated in the booking. But the new room was located less than a block away from piazza San Marco, so for tourists it was probably a better location(!).
Excellent location , it was near Piazza San Marco, and very convenient for visiting the historic places.
The apartment was big enough for 4 people, very clean and so comfortable😍
I highly recommend it.
Everything was wonderful. The clean apartment equipped with absolutely everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are quite large, it is perfect for a family of 6 people.
We felt wonderful, the communication with the host was very good, we did self check in.
10-12 minutes away is the Piazza San Marco, grocery store 5 minutes away.
I recommend this apartment with love and confidence.
A beautiful modern apartment in a fantastic location, close enough to walk to/from the train/bus station (15min) while also close to the Rialto Bridge (10min) and Piazza San Marco (20min). The apartment had everything one could need and the biscuits on arrival were a nice touch. Thank you Valentina!
Beautiful boutique hotel a little off the beaten track, which was a huge bonus for us. Its location feels much more like "real Venice" than the more touristy area around Piazza San Marco. We loved our stay and will stay there again next trip.
I had a great time in Venice. The hotel is in a very good location (only 10 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco), room was very clean, bed was confortable, breakfast was also good and the girls at the reception were very friendly and supportive. I highly recommend.
We liked our room on the 4th floor. It was small, but this is to be expected in 3 star hotels in Venice. It was clean and the housekeepers did an excellent job of keeping it up everyday. From the top floor of the hotel we were above the street noise, for the most part. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom reasonably equipped. Breakfast was adequate, fresh croissants every morning! The location of this hotel is excellent, just off piazza San Marco. The hotel hastypically Venitian decor.
Probably the best beds we have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere and we travel a lot. The location beats anything I have experienced in Venice before - less than two minute walk from Piazza San Marco. The breakfast was really rich, although the coffee could have been much better. The room was *really* spacious, especially considering how extremely small other hotel rooms often are in Venice.
