Reading some of the negative reviews prior to arriving we were not sure what to expect... But what a beautiful hotel, from the team members greeting us on arrival, at reception and team working at breakfast everyone was pleasant and accomodating. The rooms were inviting, spotless and comfortable, I would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay whilst visiting Budapest. Great location, short walk to the river, a scenic walk down to Szechenyi Chain Bridge, Parliament Building and some lovely restaurants close by.
Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest is situated within 600 metres of Fisherman's Bastion, 700 metres from Chain Bridge and it is close to several noted attractions.
Though this bathhouse sprang up in the 1880s, folks have been dipping their toes in hot springs here since the 12th century. Smaller than Budapest’s best known spas, this quiet retreat is frequented by locals seeking a quick pick-me-up in pools that range from 22 to 40 degrees. The pace quickens on Saturday nights when the place transforms into a laser-lighted nightclub.

Nice, not a lot of pools but it's enough to spend two or three hours there relaxing...but it's a real labyrinth inside! Don't forget your flipflop and you don't need to pay for a safe since you have access to one locker with your bracelet. The tram stops right in front of the building.
