    The staff were amazing.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was super dated, and walls paper thin. I hardly slept as there was a coughing child next door and above us was creaking all night.

Charming hotel with a lot of character in a prime location, right on the seafront. Short stroll to the Old Town, and right next door to the White Rock Theatre.  Run by a wonderful family, including their adorable dogs and cat.  Warm and friendly atmosphere, with a restaurant, outdoor dining and large bar.  Parking available too.  Rooms are spacious and clean, with modern facilities. England’s oldest Norman Castle on a cliff right by the Old Town nearby too. Real gem of a British seaside town.

Excellent location for White Rock Theatre and the beach, The bar area was nice. It is open to the public but there is a separate area for guests which is nice.

Location could not have been better. Exactly on the seafront (ok the road is busy but we knew that) - 2 doors up from takeaways, White Rock theatre and the PIER, viewed perfectly from sitting room window in photo.. Fabulous views at front to the water, back to cliff with nesting birds. 2 bedrooms, tv, L-shaped sofa for two; good cold fridge. NB onstreet parking is very cheap.

The hotel is in a good location opposite the pier and next to the White Rock Theatre. It is a handsome building, at least from the outside. Our room had a sea view. There is a terrace overlooking the sea and a bar open until midnight. The food is good. The members of staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Unusually for Hastings, there is a car park and although spaces are limited we always found a place.
