Even though the Victory is covered in scaffolding at the moment you can still go on board and do the tour. The audio guide gives an excellent idea of life on board preparing for and during the Battle of Trafalgar. You cna also go down into the dry dock and see the hull and keel

Really interesting but not wheelchair or pushchair accessible. Take the audio tour, it certainly helped us understand the history of the ship and the purposes of parts of the ship. Great explanation of its part in the Battle of Trafalgar.

Exquisite furnishings in beautifully restored historic townhome once owned by Captain Hardy who served with Admiral Lord Nelson. Beautiful rose garden with seating. Views of the tall harbor mast feature that lights up at night, and a marina. Next to Portsmouth Cathedral. Walk to pubs and old harbor or short taxi to HMS Victory and Mary Rose museums.

Right near the naval shipyard. Went to see the HMS Victory, 5 minute walk, and they let us keep the car in the private lot. Also the night before we had fish and chips takeout and they let us eat in dining room area. Very helpful

Excellent value for money in this traditional B&B Free House in old Portsmouth. Breakfast is great (full English of course), the location close to the Gunwharf and HMS Victory the staff was perfect for work and pleasure, but most of all it is the staff that deserve a 5 stars rating - special mention for Nikki's nursing skills and Darren's cocktails.

Location was great. I was attending a function on HMS Victory which was only a 5 minute walk away. The room was fine although could probably do with being decorated. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.
