Even though the Victory is covered in scaffolding at the moment you can still go on board and do the tour. The audio guide gives an excellent idea of life on board preparing for and during the Battle of Trafalgar. You cna also go down into the dry dock and see the hull and keel

Really interesting but not wheelchair or pushchair accessible. Take the audio tour, it certainly helped us understand the history of the ship and the purposes of parts of the ship. Great explanation of its part in the Battle of Trafalgar.

Location was great as we were visiting HMS Victory and the Royal Navy Historic Dockyard. Thing to note - there is no aircon so it may be a bit warm in summer. Our room seemed a long way from reception but otherwise it felt like an old Navy junior officers accommodation. Meals were good, staff very friendly.

Location - 30 minute walk to the Ship museums - Mary Rose, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, etc. Clean room, comfy bed, rain showerhead in bathroom for a luxurious shower! After booking online, within minutes, they gave us the details (code) to get into our room because there is no front desk. We would definitely stay here again!
