I loved it all: the location is prime, the quality of breakfast is excellent, the "feel" in the facilities is perfect, but the best thing is the staff and service they provide. I felt welcome and even important... Love them all!

Absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful. If you are Catholic, there is a Catholic church nearby to cover your obligations. However, you can also attend the services here to enjoy their inspiring chorus, homily, and venue. It is very well organized. The homily truly captured the message of Jesus. The message of love and good tidings. Absolutely fantastic

Ir is no doubt a wonderful cathedral BUT access was only through a retail style info centre and a hard sell for the £15 entry fee (even for the outside) seemed excessive! There were scaffolding and large scale building works operating (for a few years we gathered!...) Try Norwich if you want a more friendly (Free) Cathedral and Close surroundings!

It is built on so many different levels, unlike most Cathedrals which have a long aisle/chancel and then the altar, this has a long view along the main body, then steep steps to another level, and more steps up to the distant altar.
The windows are dark, and let in little light.
What also struck us was the way that strange broken pieces of stone carving were part of the structure, and had not been replaced/repaired: which looked so strange in a Cathedralmof such importance.

I got some stunning photos of the outside as it was a lovely sunny day. It is a huge building, beautifully kept, with too many interesting things to take in all at once. Not only is there the inside of the building, but you can also walk round the outside and see some historical buildings in the precincts. Do allow plenty of time to see everything, it's well worth it.
Center, or near, all we came to see. Next to the Canterbury Cathedral which we came to see again as well as other areas we visited back in 1997.
The property was built in the 13th century and modernized only to facilitate modern
Amenities.
The food was Excellent!👌
Price was very fair.
the location of the hotel was 100% perfect as we were a family of four attending our daughters graduation at Canterbury Cathedral. We were able to reserve two parking spaces outside the hotel in the Cathedral grounds and it made the whole day perfect.
Excellent location.
We stayed in the Sun room and it had double exposure so really sunny.
Hotel dates back from 1480. 350 meters from the Canterbury Cathedral. Good Tapas restaurant below us.
Breakfast was hearty to start the day, Dinner was very good with good prices, room was very clean and roomy, and plenty of parking with secure lighting. Great location to accomplish several short day trips in the area like seeing the Canterbury Cathedral, a restored Viking ship near Ramsgate. and a medieval castle like Dover Castle.
This was an excellent hotel with proximity to Canterbury Cathedral. Although a 20-minute walk, the walk was through public gardens along the river. It was very pleasant. The rooms were big, comfortable and breakfast good. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Location was very convenient - a 4 minute walk from the Canterbury Bus Station and 3 minute walk from the Canterbury Cathedral. Breakfast selection and food quality was very good - one of the best I have had in a long time. Beds were comfortable and the room was quite large.
The location of the property is ideal! Canterbury Cathedral, The Roman Museum, many charming restaurants and shops are practically on the doorstep. The bus and train stations are within easy walking distance. The house is off a very quiet street, behind another house and a locking gate. The property has character and a cozy electric fireplace. The owner allowed us to check in a bit early. Overall the property was comfortable and a great base to explore Canterbury and take day trips from.
The staff have good hospitality, the personal room was perfect, clean and stocked with two biscuits and ingredients for tea, a closet with a safe is provided, two towels for the shower, bed sheets are clean and tucked in, breakfast was provided in abundance, the hotel is about a six minute walk from Canterbury Cathedral, all for a price at roughly £70, cheaper than many other hotels.
Perfect location, bang in the middle of the town centre, in a beautiful cobbled street square overlooking cafes and specialist shops & beautifies, adjacent to the famous Canterbury Cathedral. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, luxury free toiletries & good quality hot drinks facilities. Plus complimentary chilled still and sparkling water on tap by reception 24/7. Loved the character of the hotel, quaint and historic.
