Celia checked us in and she was wonderful. We arrived at 10:30 and she said she would do her best to get our room ready. It was ready in an hour. Had a long plane rider so it was great to shower and rest. Location was excellent.

The location was excellent. It was walking distance to all the major attraction in Madrid like the Castle, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via, Prado museum and so on. There are lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, department stores nearby. The ladies working there were so kind and helpful. They offer mini croissant's, muffins, bread, butter, youghurt, milk, coffee, tea. They have elevator and the aircon works really well but the internet connection is very slow.
Just off Puerta del Sol and a short walk from the metro, Marlasca is perfectly situated for anyone visiting Madrid to enjoy the vibrant nightlife. Featuring a queen size bed for a single occupancy, this was excellent value for money in a capital city.

Amazing apartment in the centre of Madrid. A great place to stay, with everything you’ll ever need!! Considering the apartment is next to Puerta del Sol, it’s incredibly quiet.
This is the perfect apartment for couples in Madrid. Very clean, well equipped and in a perfect location - quiet but just 2 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol. The air conditions worked well to keep the apartment cool even on very hot days, and the washing machine is great for travelling with less luggage. Liza is the best host, greeted us with the keys and a tasty welcome pack :-) and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again when we come back!
Especially an apartment where families with children will be very comfortable. The apartment has two double and one single room. Our room was very clean and newly decorated. Atocha station is a 20 minute walk away. A taxi to Puerta del Sol costs 15 euros. It is impossible to find such an apartment in the centre at this price. David was very helpful and kind. They send the passwords to your phone in advance. We didn't have any problems. Everything was great.
Very friendly owners and staff. 24h reception. The location couldn't be better for a tourist, it's about 20m from Puerta del Sol. You want to be closer, you'll have to pitch a tent on the plaza :-). The room furniture is old but functional. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. For two people, the room might be a little bit small, but for one person it's good. The area around the hotel was safe even at 2 a.m. I would definitely return to this hotel the next time.
I had to attend a conference at the University Carlos III de Madrid and the accommodation was just 1 block away from it, so the location was perfect for me. Also, 2 blocks away from a minimarket and at a walking distance from main posts (Cathedral, Puerta del Sol, etc). The apartment was cosy, clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to store clothes. I loved the fact that the bedroom was in the basement!
We stayed 6 days long in Catalonia Puerta del Sol but we wish it would have been more!
The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly and helped us a lot throughout our stay (recommendations, taxi booking etc.). The location couldn’t be any better. The hotel as well as our room were very very clean. The variety of breakfast was also big with many options to choose from! All in all we fully enjoyed our stay and hope to be visiting Catalonia Puerta del Sol soon again! We highly recommend it.
