Djorff Palace was great. The facilities were beautiful, and the surrounding landscape was very enjoyable and peaceful. It was a nice break from Egiptian cities' somewhat hectic atmosphere. Marina, Mohamed, and their whole staff were very kind and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Its being on the west bank of the river made our commutes a little longer. However, they provide a free* ferry service (*It costs a little if you want to be taken closer to Luxor Temple).

This is a quiet location in a West Bank village with wonderful gardens. It's a short walk from the main road down narrow, residental dirt streets. People along the way are friendly enough if you speak to them but are not selling or hassling you along the way.
The hotel itself is very peaceful. There is a restaurant with a good chef on the top floor. They also have a nice swimming pool. All of the staff are polite and eager to help. I will be staying at this hotel again. It's a restful oasis.

Visit the museum when it reopens at 8pm. It's not overwhelming like the national museum in Cairo, but it has numerous important statues and other artifacts taken from sites around Luxor that you view during daylight.

The location is on the other side of Luxor museum, over the Nile and you have a very nice view from the hotel
You have boats to cross the Nile exactly in the front of the hotel and it is very cheap and the trip is nice and very short.
Pay attention the correct price to cross the Nile with a private boat is 1 Eur for 2 persons, keep in mind because the boat's guys will ask for 3 times more.

The owner made us feel very welcomed in the hotel and arranged us private activities through Luxor for the both days of our stay for a very reasonable price.
Besides, the food was marvelous. It was home cooked by a very sympathetic staff member.
It wasn’t an inconvenience staying in the west bank, we were able to easily move around in the private tour for the east bank, visiting temples, Luxor museum and local shops
Hard to beat this location! In between the two east bank temples and next to the Luxor Museum and the public ferry to the west bank.
Pool was refreshing and had a kid friendly corner.
Villa Diletta is an excellent place to stay.
Mohamed is so nice, he took care for all my visits: Valley of the Kings and Queens, he arranged an private boat for me to go Karnak, Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple, this experience was fantastic, Also, he pick me up from de train station and arranged a Taxi to go to the Airport at 5:30 am !!!

Breakfast on the ample and spacious deck was very good. The gentleman serving breakfast was fast and efficient helping out.
The pool on top was also a good add on.
Great location to visit Luxor temple (is on top of it) and very close to Karnak and the Luxor museum (walking distance).
They were nice to accommodate the three roooms we requested close by.
Beds themselves were very comfortable.
The location in top of a bazar or market is also very convenient. Some of our kids also enjoyed the Horus cafe on street by the hotel.
Location next to Luxor Museum, Nile river promenade and public ferry across the Nile. NOTE; Public ferry is a great way to save money on Western side taxi or tours. The distance to the tombs is dramatically reduced for the driver.
The hostel has a wonderful place close to everything, Luxor Temple, Mummification Museum, Commercial Market, Luxor Museum and Train station it was excellent cleanliness, and a delicious breakfast. Special thanks to the owner of the place Mr Hassan , he was friendly ,helpful and generous (thanks for bringing the cane ), all the staff are friendly, respectful and helpful, which made our stay easier and more enjoyable. All thanks to Muhammad, Muhammad, Ibrahim and Ahmed all of them will be missed
