The 3-star Hotel Klika is a family-run hotel in the historic centre of Ceske Budejovice, near the river Malse. The place is very calm and close to the main square.
The staff was super nice and the location is great.
Almost as old as the town itself, Premysla Otakara II Square has been the hub of České Budějovice for centuries. Renaissance and Baroque structures line each aspect, with the impressive Town Hall dominating the southwest corner. The ‘erratic boulder’ – an oddly-shaped cobblestone marking the old gallows – is found by the fountain. Cross it at night and legend says you’ll never find your way home.
