This hotel has an amazing view, just amazing. It seems like most rooms have a little balcony and we certainly enjoyed ours. The rooms are small, but thoughtfully laid out (see my comments on the bathroom below). The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of foods and eggs cooked to order. There is a garden sitting area where you can have wine or coffee and enjoy the view. A couple of evenings we picked up food from the small market in town and had an evening picnic in the garden--fantastic view and so relaxed. Wengen as a whole is breathtaking with many simple local hikes easily accessible from there, but Wengen also has easy access to Mannlichen, an easy train or longer walk to Lauterbrunnen (don't stay in Lauterbrunnen, it is uncomfortably crowded and busy), and it has easy access to/from Murren --which is a great spot for some amazing hikes (walk the Northface hike, it's not too hard and just stunning). Wengen also has easy access to the Jungfraujoch. If you are staying in Switzerland and visiting both the Alps region and other areas, I recommend the half-fare pass over the many other options Swiss rail offers (so confusing!!) as it will get you half off the very pricey (but worthwhile) visit to the top of Jungfrau and half off all other fares, including cable cars and funiculars.

1. The promptness and convenience of the hotel shuttle and driver who drove us to and from the Wengen train station with our luggage.
2. The easy walk from Wengen to the hotel through a quiet neighborhood and past the English Church.
3. The amazing views of the mountains from the front of the hotel and the main dining room.
4. The fabulous and elegant dinner and delicious full breakfast buffet.
5. The warm and gracious hotel staff members.
6. The best indoor swimming pool.
7. Calm and relaxing resort atmosphere.
8. Picture windows in hotel rooms including those facing the forest.
9. Two sinks in the family room.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return to the Beausite someday.

Perfect Location.
Perfect Location. Near to the train station, cable car and restaurants. Rooms are very nostalgic and view view are incredible. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food in the in house restaurant is also great.

Amazingly picturesque area, probably one of the most beautiful valleys on the planet. When there has been some decent rain in the area the Staubbach Falls are truly magnificent along with many other waterfalls in the Lauterbrunnen valley. You can walk up to and just about under the falls. The climb is not too exerting and can be managed easily. Keep watch for base jumpers as the area is famous for this sport. Recommend a visit to this area, you will not be disappointed.

Definitely walk all the way up as far as the trail let’s y to experience the falls, caverns, and the view. Not to be missed! The price is right-free! And there are even hiking stick to use. There are months when this trail is closed.

The location of the stay was beautiful with the staubbach falls right behind the hostel. The view from the room was quite good. It had all facilities like a common kitchen, laundry (on payment) etc. They have bicycles available which you can use to go around the beautiful country side road along the stream just behind the hostel.
As advertised... the view of the Staubbach Falls from our apartment balcony was breathtaking. Truly enjoyed our quaint stay. The 3 bedroom apartment could easily house 10 people. But there were only 3 of us. Host was not local but able to be reached and respond very quickly to our needs. We were also welcomed with a bottle of local beer and chocolate. We truly enjoyed our one night stay. Place was very clean, and everything we need.
We had a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and Staubbach Falls. Fantastic view. The room was spacious and included a table with chairs so that you could have a takeout meal if desired. The hotel manager was extremely helpful. Good breakfast. Good free parking. Elevator.
Apartment is in a perfect location! Unobstructed view of Staubbach falls directly across from the apartment. Immaculately clean. Great communication with the owners!

Definitely recommended Hotel in Lauterbrunnen
The accommodations are simple, but when you’re in Lauterbrunnen, you’re going to be spending most of your days outside anyways. The location is perfect, close to the train station or a short bus ride to the life to Gimmelwald/Mürren. Walking distance to all the restaurants. We also had a fantastic view of Staubbach Falls from our window! Carol the manager was amazing! She gave us great recommendations for rainy days and let us borrow her hiking sticks. She also makes great scrambled eggs.
Everything in this hostel is great, the location is amazing - we have direct view of Staubbach Falls, nearby grocery store is there too (closes at 5pm), train is 4mins walk only, you can just walk around the area and it's already amazing. They fully equipped kitchen that you can do your cooking and store some food.
Location. Location. Location! It’s a pleasant, old world feel hotel next to a church with bells (not unpleasantly).
The view of Staubbach Falls is unparalleled. The proximity of the hotel to everything in Lauterbrunnen was excellent.
