The hotel's manager is very kind and helpful.
At the check in time, I forgot my cell phone on the counter. He sent it to my room right away.
We were late that day, he waited until we arrived at the hotel.
Hotel is clean and well managed, with a gorgeous view.
BTW: This hotel's manager looks like Roger Federer. :-)

We really loved staying at this traditional looking, but very modern hotel.
The room and bed were so comfortable and the views from the balcony fantastic.
Breakfast was a generous buffet in addition to a choice from a cooked menu. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
We were fortunate to have great weather during our visit and were able to enjoy an aperitif and evening meals on the sunny terrace. Again, we found the waiting staff very friendly and helpful.
There was a lovely little lounge with honesty bar as well as a manned bar by the restaurant.
The location is also fabulous - five minutes walk to the railway station and two minutes walk to the cable car. Both giving access to great hikes.
We are looking forward to returning!

Perfect Location.
Perfect Location. Near to the train station, cable car and restaurants. Rooms are very nostalgic and view view are incredible. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food in the in house restaurant is also great.

Amazingly picturesque area, probably one of the most beautiful valleys on the planet. When there has been some decent rain in the area the Staubbach Falls are truly magnificent along with many other waterfalls in the Lauterbrunnen valley. You can walk up to and just about under the falls. The climb is not too exerting and can be managed easily. Keep watch for base jumpers as the area is famous for this sport. Recommend a visit to this area, you will not be disappointed.

Definitely walk all the way up as far as the trail let’s y to experience the falls, caverns, and the view. Not to be missed! The price is right-free! And there are even hiking stick to use. There are months when this trail is closed.

Staffs were very helpful even though they spoke very little English.
Rooms were very cozy, the balcony and huge windows offered a spectacular view of Staubbach Falls. Located in a quiet area a short walk from the train station. The kettle came in really handy.
Was surprised to find a lift in this hotel, it was certainly a god-send for heavy luggages.
Within sight of the Staubbach Falls, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the Lauterbrunnen valley. It is quintessentially Swiss in its style with clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and the 24hr free coffee and tea was a nice touch. On a side note if you are a Bond OHMSS fan for which Lauterbrunnen was a key location the hotel is in scenes where Bond and Tracey are trying to evade Blofelds henchmen, which is a nice extra
A charming hotel, very close to Lauterbrunnen train station and a perfect base to explore the region. We stayed in a Holz Valley View room which had beautiful views over the valley including Staubbach Falls. The room was fresh and modern - more than I would normally expect from a 3-star hotel. Lovely helpful staff complete the picture. We would happily stay again.
It's by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The room (Valley 100 room) was extremely spacious. There was even a bathtub. But what I loved most was the view from the room (and the additional windows on the ceiling). The balcony faces Staubbach falls, and being on the 4th floor was amazing. The hotel interior is also mainly wood, so the scent of wood was blissful and calming. On a non cloudy night, u can even see stars.
The location was central, within walking distance to the train station and Staubbach falls. Bus service to Trummelbach falls and Stechelberg - if you want to visit Schilthorn. Free parking (in a metered parking space next to the hotel) was an advantage as we travelled by car.
Everything was good. Host was helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms were comfortable. We got a room with direct view of the Staubbach Falls. Host was even kind enough to provide free parking behind the hotel. Highly recommended.

Hotel is perfect location, a bit out off the main road so a bit quieter but everything is within walking distance.
Choice for breakfast large & everything fresh.
