We absolutely loved this hotel! I wish we had stayed more than one night. The elevator lift to the hotel was such a cool experience, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. We also visited the American Bar twice, and both experiences were amazing. The drinks were so good and as my husband says, the best club sandwich he has ever had. And the views of the city from the bar were breathtaking! We would definitely stay here again!

Although the location is away from Lucerne, it was a quick 15 bus ride from the train station right to the hotel.
All the staff were exceptional. They had staff carry our luggage to our upstairs room. The chef-owner Marcus was a wonderful host, as was his wife, and the restaurant was amazing!

It's way more impressive to see in person.
It's way more impressive to see in person. A hidden treasure is really what's right next to it - the Glacier Garden of Lucerne if you are interested in geology. Do not, I repeat, do not miss the labyrinth. We almost skipped it as the entrance didn't look interesting to us.

Go into the glacier museum while you’re there. We were skeptical at first, as I hadn’t looked into the museums in the area and had no idea what it was. By far the best views of the city and way bigger than we thought it was! You can get a great side view of the lion as well, which was pleasant to be so close to him in such a private moment. Please visit the Labyrinth and lower areas first. We were so tempted to follow the trail up, the layout had us walking a bunch of stairs unnecessarily because we just didn’t know. I’m just looking out for your knees, my friends. Save your knees for Pilatus and Rigi!

The apartment is well-kept, pleasant and reasonable price. Had the basic facilities that you might need.

This hotel was the best value in all of Lucerne. The location couldn’t be better. The Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument were very close and most tours start by the train station. We saw the hotel the minute we left the train station and it was a 5 minute walk with our luggage. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pub had great food and drink. No AC but very few hotels in Lucerne have AC, but cracking window at night made it cool enough to sleep.
Great location: just a few minutes walk to main attractions like dying lion monument, mussegmauer, schwanenplatz, Hofkirsch and train station. Bus comes every 4 minutes. Supermarkets and shops nearby.

Clean and secure, the bed was comfortable, the common areas were spacious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the old town and the lake, right across the lion monument, one street away.
The location is great! Like a 5 min walk to the main station, lake Luzern, the chapel bridge and the sleeping lion monument, which is great for people who want to explore the city.

I loved how it was easy to get to. It was within 3 minutes of the Alt Stadt and there were restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It is also located next to the Lion Monument and bus stops. This hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were better than expected. I thought I might be claustrophobic in the capsules but they were super spacious and the mirrors help make them feel bigger than they are. The beds are also comfortable and the ventilation makes it comfy to snuggle down and get a good sleep.
Convenient location near a bus stop and within walking distance of most of what you would want to see, especially the Lion Monument, practically across the street. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was very helpful.
I loved the location! Very great place. Walking distance to all major points of the city and super close to the Lion monument. Also VERY friendly staff!!
