Very friendly staff particularly Celestin. He made me feel at ease and was very helpful during the check-in process. Offered to take me on a tour of the hotel despite that I checked in well after midnight. He was kind and polite enough to check if I had settled well once I got to my room. Our second stay at the Hotel des Patients. The first was during covid times, so it was great to experience the full buffet breakfast this time!
Good sized, contemporary rooms with quality fittings. Quiet. near to CHUV metro stop and with Lausanne Transport card included. (tourist tax - decided by the Lausanne commune not the hotel - is now 5,50chf per person per night though!)
The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room and the en suite bathroom were very spacious. The breakfast was good. The location was closed to the CHUV Metro station.

Very unusual staying two nights in a hotel within a hospital campus but it worked very well. The venue is outside of the city centre but the dining room supplied very adequate meals in the evening with a full bar facility. Breakfast was an exceptional buffet which was included in the rate.
The hotel is only yards from the CHUV metro stop on the Metro line from Lausanne Station.

Great view and a spacious room. Everything new and clean. We asked for a baby cot while booking and it was ready-for-use when we arrived at our room. Lights in the room can be dimmed. The welcome at the breakfast and the breakfast itself was nice. Also the availability of baby chairs in the restaurant we liked a lot. The park spots (CHF20/day) are very spacious and the access per lift to the rooms from there is most convenient. The nearest metro station is CHUV. Very convenient to get to the city center and back.
