You stop here on a tour with land and sea tours, around the city and the suspension bridge! If you do we definitely think all the guys must be great but Recommend Tim from our experience he was Funny, accommodating and very knowledgeable!!! If you are lucky and have more time you can also walk there if you are staying in downtown!

One of the Worlds most famous city parks.

One of the Worlds most famous city parks. Easy to spend the whole day in this vast urban playground. Hire a bike and explore. At Christmas there is the best Christmas festival for kids in the park. Don't miss it if you are here at Christmas.

Fabulous place to lose yourself for a day.. so much to see and do. My personal favourite is Beaver Lake... lots of blue herons, raccoons, 3 different types of squirrels, frogs, variety of birds... but didn't see beavers. Lake was clogged in Oct 2018, but believe they were going to restore it from the overgrown of weeds, during 2019.

Gorgeous park. We payed $13 for a day parking pass.

Gorgeous park. We payed $13 for a day parking pass. This allowed us to drive to different areas and to park there, allowing us to see more of the park in our limited time. Make sure you get a map of the park so you don't waste time getting lost. I highly recommend the Tatlow Walk which takes you through the old growth forest and the huge redwood cedar trees. The Aquarium requires about five hours to see everything and is the best one that I've ever been to. Swimming and beach time is a must!

The location was amazing, right on Robson St but far enough from the noise. Close walk to Stanley Park and the harbour. The room was surprisingly large with plenty of storage and a full kitchen and with the hotel floor layout, noise from other rooms was nonexistent. The staff was awesome, Heroko at check in, was very friendly and Shane in the morning had the biggest smile, she was very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The location was good; the hotel shares a common entry and space with residents. We enjoyed being able to walk to a lot of places including Granville Island, Gastown, and Stanley Park. The hotel was quiet, and the room was amply sized and had a comfortable bed. We were able to park at the hotel for a fee, which was nice. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

It’s a B&B, not a hotel, so the expectations are different. There were nice touches, convenient (and free) parking, a substantial and healthy breakfast. The front porch was s nice spot to sit on. We met a couple that loves Vancouver and returns (from somewhere distant in the US) to the Barclay every year for years now - it’s comfortable like that. Location (not far from Stanley Park) put it within walking distance of restaurants and activities, while being in a wholly residential setting. Beautiful tree lined streets.

Beautiful hotel, located near all the tourist sites in Vancouver. The ability to walk to the aquarium, Gas town, Canada Place, Stanley Park and Granville Island was all quick and simple. A great location with excellent views of the harbour.

Lovely 5 star hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. 2 large beds afforded us plenty of room to stretch out, and everything worked in the well-appointed bathroom. I would have preferred a lower floor, but the elevators were fast and never crowded. Fairly close to Stanley Park and Granville Island but not really walking distance.

The hotel is relaxed and comfortable, not like a chain corporate hotel. The staff is friendly and responsive to any needs. Good location in Vancouver’s West End, not far from Stanley Park, Coal Harbor, and lots of dining options in walking distance. The artwork throughout the hotel is a nice touch, as are little perks like bottles to fill with still and sparkling water from dispensers on each floor, free 3 hour bike rental, and daily wine tastings. Our room was a good size and comfortable.

The Blue Horizon was the perfect hotel for our one-night stay in Vancouver before heading home after our cruise. Our room was on the 11th floor. The 2 queen beds were comfortable. The room was spacious and the balcony had amazing views of the city. We loved having a water bottle refill station in the lobby. The location was centrally located in the heart of Vancouver. It was a 10 minute ride from the port and a 20 minute walk to Stanley Park. The hotel is also a stop on the Hop on Hop off bus route.

My stay at the hotel was unexpected. Because of a medical emergency on my cruise ship we had to spend the night in Vancouver. The location was wonderful, we just walked over from Canada Place. We used the bikes and rode around Stanley Park and some parts of downtown. Enjoyed our stay immensely, the hotel was beautiful and the amenities in the room were top notch.

We disembarked our ship at 8:00 a.m. and were able to check in early. We upgraded to a room in the lounge and it was worth every penny. Breakfast/snacks/drinks (non-alcohol) were included which was nice. Located next to the cruise port and near the train station. Beautiful room overlooking the harbor and city night lights. I highly recommend this hotel especially before or after a cruise. There's so much to do. We walked around Stanley Park which is a must. We will always stay here when in Vancouver!
