At the end of Denman Street which has a vibrant cafe scene and a cute Irish pub. The art on the foreshore is captivating. The statues in various poses were something I could enjoy. My aunt taste is for reality rather than surrealism and modernism.

Great location, close to plenty of restaurants and to the main bus route to downtown. I have missed the breakfast. That can be slightly loger perhaps till 10:00am? Also very close to English Bay beach and to the ferry to Granville Island.
Great location across from English Bay and Stanley Park. The room and bed were fine. You could hook up the tv to your laptop using an HDMI cord if you bring one.
the hotel is between restaurants and could need some outside cleaning but it is a few steps to English Bay with its most beautiful sunset. Bus stops to all over Vancouver are very close. Big stores are in walking distance
Great location, close to everything. Easy walk to international restaurants, stores, Stanley Park, bicycle rentals, English Bay. Apartment was comfortable, quiet, and well stocked.
Location right in Stanley park in residential area. About 2 blocks from shops on Denman street, buses. Rental bikes everywhere. Could walk to English bay, Stanley park,Canada place. The office manager was very friendly and efficient. It was a pleasure to deal with him. Building is old but clean, well furnished and everything worked fine
Staff was very helpful. David, shuttle driver, took us to Stanley Park and pointed out the Sunset Beach, English Bay and West End. It was so welcoming. The Front Desk was always so courteous and friendly.
English Bay Hotel is a very well located budget hotel. The hotel was built in the 1950s, and some of the features are quite old. Our room was clean and well maintained and had a small separate kitchen. The hotel is located opposite the beach and surrounded by a large selection of excellent bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop across the road. It was a great base to explore Granville Island, Stanley Park and the Gaslight downtown area. Our room was on the main road, the traffic noise at night could impact some people.
Exceptional service from the moment I arrived, I received a complimentary room upgrade and valet parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and offered me a complimentary drop off service into downtown instead of ordering a taxi. The room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and little to no noise from other guests or outside (my room was facing the back of the hotel) Loved the jacuzzi bath. Location is great, close to the seawall, English Bay and Stanley park as well as downtown. I would love to stay here again!
This hotel has an excellent location at English Bay Beach. The restaurant is marvelous and the rooms are spacious. It is a cool experience in this historic hotel and definitely worth a stay.
Charming hotel. Restaurant has an amazing view of English Bay and good food. We enjoyed our breakfast. The lounge had music we enjoyed in the evening. Was close to interesting restaurants- we had a great Vietnamese meal one night.
