At the end of Denman Street which has a vibrant cafe scene and a cute Irish pub. The art on the foreshore is captivating. The statues in various poses were something I could enjoy. My aunt taste is for reality rather than surrealism and modernism.

English Bay Hotel is a very well located budget hotel. The hotel was built in the 1950s, and some of the features are quite old. Our room was clean and well maintained and had a small separate kitchen. The hotel is located opposite the beach and surrounded by a large selection of excellent bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop across the road. It was a great base to explore Granville Island, Stanley Park and the Gaslight downtown area. Our room was on the main road, the traffic noise at night could impact some people.
Location in West End was great, within walking distance to Stanley Park, English Bay and shopping on Robson St, etc. It was a little noisy at night at times, as bedroom was facing Denman, else, the 1-bdrm apt was very comfortable. Liked the convenience of laundry facilities in the apt, and the kitchen was well equipped (though paper towels would be handy). The rooftop patio was very nice.
Exceptional service from the moment I arrived, I received a complimentary room upgrade and valet parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and offered me a complimentary drop off service into downtown instead of ordering a taxi. The room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and little to no noise from other guests or outside (my room was facing the back of the hotel) Loved the jacuzzi bath. Location is great, close to the seawall, English Bay and Stanley park as well as downtown. I would love to stay here again!
This hotel has an excellent location at English Bay Beach. The restaurant is marvelous and the rooms are spacious. It is a cool experience in this historic hotel and definitely worth a stay.
Clean and very spacious room & bathroom. Great location downtown, shops & eateries of all kinds & easy walking distance to Canada Place and English Bay.
AWESOME view from 28th floor. Was allowed early check in, no problem.
Given real cream for the Nespresso machine ( "just ask" in the room info).
Will easily be my first choice on next trip to Vancouver!
Very good Breakfast & lunch restaurant downstairs.
It is such a peaceful spot despite being so close to downtown and English Bay. The unit was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities one could ask for.
The security also felt very comfortable. The Sonder app response to our questions was very prompt and helpful. All in all we loved our stay and will be booking again very soon. Thank you so much.
The Blue Horizon is always my first choice hotel for a visit to Vancouver!! I really like the location and its proximity to fine restaurants, shopping, and also that it is within walking distance to English Bay and the harbour. I also feel safe while staying there.
Great apartment in the downtown of Vancouver, in the quite neighborhood. Most of the Vancouver sites (Stanley Park, English bay, etc.) are easily accessible by foot or short ride. Had everything we needed for a 10 day stay.
