The staff was amazing and exactly what you would expect from a 5 star. Very helpful with everything we wanted to do and the coordination. The beds were a true king size and had ample space for our 4 night stay in Rio.

This is one of my favorite stays! I absolutely loved this boutique hotel and the unique historical surroundings. There's live music and a delicious restaurant/bar downstairs and it's on an iconic street with lots of restaurants and entertainment nearby. Plus you have the beautiful trolley of Santa Teresa. The rooms themselves are wonderful, it's recently renovated, clean, comfortable and it has quirky decor. The staff was also really kind and welcoming and I would definitely stay here again. This place was a gem.

best thing we did- go early in the morning to avoid lines and enjoy a coffee and sweets with a great unbeatable view, or go in the afternoon to enjoy sunset and very cool vobes (but be patient with lines)
