The hotel has immense charm and the overall style and aesthetic really add to the Copa Cabana experience. Staff is excellent and friendly( Do get them a more efficient coffee maker though). Great gym, beautiful Spa and the breakfast service is of great quality and selection.

The Villa is beautiful in a gated area high above Rio and with a view of the bay, Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer which is second to none. The villa is stylish with lovely rooms and very good food. The staff are friendly and helpful.

It's in the heart of a hipster neighbourhood, it's very lively, especially during weekend evenings but it's not too loud after 11. Other than that it's amazing value for money. Definitely recommend.

best thing we did- go early in the morning to avoid lines and enjoy a coffee and sweets with a great unbeatable view, or go in the afternoon to enjoy sunset and very cool vobes (but be patient with lines)
