Highly recommend this hotel. The staff was so kind and hospitable, accommodating and early check in, and allowing me to leave my bags both before and after check in. The staff provided me with great recommendations to see some of the best parts of Sarajevo. The room itself was extremely clean, I didnt use the heat/air conditioning but the unit looked brand new. The windows provided a priceless view and opened nicely to cool the room down. Beds were comfortable and the location was perfect, right in the heart of Baščaršija, the historic center of Sarajevo. Despite being right in the center of the city, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are large and modern, very pretty and comfortable. Close walking distance to the city center, the staff are lovely, they even welcomed us with a bottle of wine, cookies, and a hand written note. Breakfast was good, coffee was great. I would stay here again.

Latin bridge
Sometimes it just takes one small event to unleash a worldwide cataclysm. This bridge is the site of one such event. At the Latin Bridge in 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in his open-top coach – a moment that led directly to World War I. Come with a tour guide to get the full picture of this important landmark in world history.
Great location - walking distance to everything and right across from the river. You can see the Latin Bridge from the front door. Wonderful hosts. Be sure to sign up for the tours through the hosts - they do a great job showing you the area and all the sights from the war/Seige of Sarajevo.
The staff at Hotel Royal Gold was wonderful. Quite friendly & helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the famous Latin bridge, among other attractions. The hotel has some fun history, with Hollywood stars such as Morgan Freedman & Kate Hudson being past guests.
Wonderful host family. Great location near the Latin Bridge and Old Town Sarajevo. The room was comfortable enough and the bathroom was modern and clean.
This apartment is quite a find. It looked exactly like the pictures and further wowed us once inside. The decor, spaciousness and natural lighting make it inviting and hard to leave.
The location cannot be beat. The view of the city hall and #Sarajevo sign at night is stunning, and it is just steps away from the old town, the brewery, Latin bridge and a road that leads up to a spectacular view of the city.
To top it all off, our host was exceptionally helpful and generous. He offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station.
The location is great, right next to the Latin bridge. It is not a chain hotel so it gives you new emotions. The staff was nice and helpful. Parking is tiny but we always could park there which is really great for this part of Sarajevo. I would go there again despite the few downsides described below.
A very special hotel. Spacious room with high ceilings -- it felt so luxurious. Big, comfortable bed. Hamam is beautiful and well worth doing a scrub service. Lovely Turkish breakfast. So close to old town across the Latin Bridge, and on the side of the hotel, walking distance to the cable car (amazing!).
The apartment is quite new with full modern facility. The location is quite closed to the heart of Sarajevo, it takes 10-15 mins to the Latin Bridge on foot.
It is a modern apartment, with old world charm, on the top floor, with a spectacular view of old town Sarajevo. Just around the corner, you enter the market area, which encompasses, the origins of the city, and for history buffs, the Latin Bridge is just down the street. We were met downstairs by the owner, who was very personable. We only stayed one night but it was an enjoyable experience.

I had really a wonderful experience at Guesthouse Kandilj. The location is perfect – it was near to the Latin Bridge and Bascarsija Square, etc. Haris and Eldin are great staff. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sarajevo!
Great location in Sarajevo Old Town. Just minutes by walk from the Latin Bridge, Clock Tower and Ali Pasha's Mosque. Plent of shopping and eating places close by too.
The room itself was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included which was served in the attached cafe downstairs. Service was excellent both in the restaurant and the hotel.
