In winter there is a lot of snow, very beautiful. Everything is decorated festively, a small town for 1 or 2 days maximum. Everything is within walking distance, but we did not get on the funicular, because we were only there for one day. I recommend staying here for a day to take a break from the big busy cities. In cafes you can pay by card, but in the indoor souvenir market and in hostels you pay in cash in local currency. There are currency exchange offices in the center and there are ATMs. Supermarkets are open until 10 and only one is open 24 hours with a small selection

I was very disappointed with the city of Sarajevo.
I was very disappointed with the city of Sarajevo. The streets were filled with pickpockets, and our wallets were stolen in the old town, causing us to lose a significant amount of cash and important documents. Many other tourists have also reported thefts, so I urge everyone to be cautious when traveling here.

The touristy Old Town is full of sweet shops and tourist trinkets. It's nothing special. I recommend the Celtic Pub for a beer and some cool oldies music during the week. The weekend is crowded. Tapas restaurant near City Pub were both good. But there aren't any tapas in Tapas Resto. Nevertheless, the food was excellent at a reasonable price.

We loved the museums, the culture and the coffee. Our favourite thing to do was to walk up to the Yellow Fortress to admire the views. Sit in the old town with a Bosnian coffee and watch the world go by. Everyone is friendly and we loved wandering the maze of streets - especially Copper Street. Take a free walking tour (remember to tip the host) - you will learn lots and see places you may miss otherwise. Eat cevapi and burek - really tasty and cheap!

My room was basic and clean. Also the bathroom is too. That is the what I asked for this short trip. If you won’t planning to spend too much time in the room, This hotel is perfect. Damir is also very caring and interested. Location is very central in old city and you can go anywhere touristic on foot. My window directly sees Sebil. If I go back to Sarajevo again I will definitely book here again.
The hotel was situated perfectly. It was an ideal hotel to stay for the night. I had booked a tour and the tour guide meet up was literally 2 mins away from the hotel. The old town is a 2 min walk, with lovely resturants and cafes. The tour started at 8am and breakfast would've been missed. I msged the owner and got sandwiches made by the lovely catering ladies to take away with me to the tour.
