The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The reception experience was professional and welcoming. As a solo traveler I value safety and I was not disappointed. The Caesar at the hotel restaurant salad was delicious. The gym is clean and the pool was a bit cold but refreshing. Saunas were clean and well maintained.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I had a great stay and felt cared for.

Sarajevo could be described as a captivating oasis of European cities, where East meets West in an integration of diverse cultures and a fascinating history mixed with a fresh cosmopolitan and charismatic vibe.
A museum in itself, Sarajevo is a sightseeing and history lover’s haven from the numerous mosques, churches and synagogues, to historic landmarks such as Sarajevo War Tunnel and Latin Bridge. Afterwrads, you could wander through the Old Town, which is a world on its own.
Sarajevo’s cultural diversity means a large selection of local delicacies. Be sure to visit Sarajevo’s historic and cultural hub Baščaršija bazaar, an ancient trading place with cafés, restaurants, cosy bars, art, and loads of accommodation options.

Sarajevo is hidden gem of Europe, it’s unique and different from all European cities. Sarajevo is that kind of place where l would say, West and East culture meet each others. It’s very lively and peaceful in same time. Full of contrast and contradiction, people are welcoming and accepting. Food is amazing, love passing by next to the bakeries in Sarajevo, the smell of freshly baked bread and local pastries is something that many European cities have lost it over the time, unfortunately. I highly recommend you to visit this place, because l guarantee you will have unique experience.

Sarajevo is a meeting point of cultures where East meets West. This is especially visible in the architecture. It's also a place with amazing history like the assassination of the Archduke and the 84 Winter Olympics.

Fabulous city, much to give, friendly people, take time out for coffee and joining the locals! Off the beaten track are hidden gems, but moments need to be reflected with the Sarajevo Roses, Markale Memorial, and War childhood museum. Embrace the bad as well as the good, it’s all part of the city. MeetBosnia a great tour agent, source of info and highly recommend for everything.

Churches, mosques, museums, cable car, lovely old town, modern shopping centres, promenade by the river, lots of history, great restaurants (lots of halal food for the people looking for that), quaint cafes, relaxed atmosphere, good feeling of being in a safe place, not an expensive place to visit.

Sarajevo's an incredible, unique city that everyone should visit. I've spent time there almost every year since 2016. It's where East and West meet, blend, meld and harmonise, and it drips with history. Go to Gallerija 11/07/95 and watch the film Miss Sarajevo (30 mins), which plays on a loop at the back of the gallery.

The hotel in great location opposite the river.
Reception was very good welcome us and when we go the room Sebring for us Bosnia sweet as I welcome to the free and there was look after us clean the room every day and the stuff very friendly she asked if you need any help of just contact him inside the room was cattle tea coffee sugar everything it was a great thank you
The location of this hotel is so central however the street itself is not too noisy/busy at night. It was a short walk downhill to the main square (a bit steep coming back up but it's a short walk). There is also shops/food places on the door step. They have reserved on street parking across the road, spaces are limited so book in advance. The host was friendly & accomadating. I would book this place again if I were to return to Sarajevo.
Doesn't look too fancy, but this is a very good hotel. Capable staff. Special mention for the friendly housekeeping. Also the L'occitane soaps. It's little things like these that sets it apart. Cramped but gated parking. Well-situated. Good breakfast too. We book here again when we're in Sarajevo.
The bed and the air condition could have been better in our room. If you can’t book parking place at the hotel, you can leave your car in a public lot close to the hotel (1,5 euro/hour). The corner where the archduke was assasinated by Gavrilo Princip in 1914 is only 200 meters from the hotel!!
Beautiful hotel situated just outside the hustle and bustle of the old town. Reception staff was approachable, professional, flexible, and super helpful. Delicious breakfast options could only be improved by more varied sweet pastries. Would not hesitate a minute to book again at Hotel Baškuća!
