The Inn at Evergreen is formerly a Civil War Era mansion that has now been renovated into a boutique bed and breakfast located in the Haymarket, VA. The Inn at Evergreen serves as the centre piece to the Evergreen Country Club, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Inn at Evergreen has luxurious amenities such as an outdoor pool, a 207 acre 72 par Golf Course, an onsite restaurant and bar, as well as stunning views of the Bull Run mountains. We loved the quiet beauty of Evergreen. A very different lodging experience with no reception allowing you to feel you were staying in a private home. The staff were excellent especially Sofia for her friendly welcoming personality. The General Manager Brian was also excellent. We ate in the restaurant which was not disappointing.

The National Sporting Library & Museum is 3 miles away. The breakfast was amazing. Their bacon was the best I’ve ever tasted! The yogurt parfait was top-notch, and I’m not usually a crunchy-granola kind of girl. Incredibly comfortable sheets and bedding, although at 5’5”, I felt like I could have used a little staircase to get into the bed, lol!

Prospect Hill is truly exceptional. One of the most beautiful settings for a country inn that we have ever seen. Every guest is treated like royalty. The house was built in the early 19th century and has been thoughtfully and sensitively restored. If you are planning a trip to Charlottesville, this is the best place to stay (2 night minimum).
